From the above study, the points which I examined at the time of studying the leadership
and management report is that leaders play the important role in the organisation and through
their strategic planning, they motivate employees to attain goal within the stipulated time. This
study is based upon Marry T Barra's which I found interesting as he carry the post of CEO of the
general motors company and also very knowledgable in dealing in various car models (Bush,
Bell and Middlewood, 2019). I identified that in auto mobile sector, their are various challenges
which is faced by the general motors in respect of penetrating market. Through the wider
discussion of motor cars I find that American car industry is one of the largest car selling and
manufacturing company.
In the concept of globalisation, it enhances companies to expand the business into global
market and thus, I find it interesting regarding the adapting this best methods by general motors
company and also they adapt the best marketing polices to enhances their business. Sustainability
is the best methods and through this aspects it results in retaining the interest of employees and
customer towards their business (Amanchukwu, Stanley and Ololube, 2015). Thus, to maintain
the interest of business, I realized that company had to beat their competitors through producing
the similar or substituent products. Through this perspective their interest never distract towards
any other products. In this report I also find that that are various usual cases through which the
company had to ready with their back up plan so that at time of Brexit or technology changes,
they can implement such procedure.
I notices that leaders and manager carry various roles and responsibility in respect of
setting the clear vision regarding the particular task or motivating employees to take their own
decision or also through effective training and guidances they are self motivated to accomplish
the task. In respective of crossing cultures or countries, the things which I examined is relating to
using the Hofstead cultural dimensions framework in which the organisation culture I find
through various examples (McCaffery, 2018). This is quite unique to find the various aspects
such as masculinity vs Femininity in which the decision taking perspective is examined. In
another manners the things which I identified is relating to different path ways through which
employees are motivated and engaged in pertaining to better quality products. In this study, I
also attracted with this aspect relating to following the ethical culture and norms through
following the accurate polices which is provide to company.

Usually in work place, I find that their is big gap between the senior managers and junior
regarding communicating any information or initiating any process. This resulting in expanding
the gap between the leaders and team members to share any important decision. Thus, from the
completed report, I examined that leaders and manager are the effective key for company growth
and success in global market (Thorpe, 2016). The role of leaders are vital and they uses various
leadership style to motivate employees and also appreciate their decision. Through this
perspective, I realised that leaders also carry some risk in respect of not communication or
coordinating with their team members to accomplish any task or activity within stipulated time. I
also agree with this things that management had to work in structured way so that it not resulting
in discriminating among the employees. At last, I find this report interesting as general motors
are working with accurate polices to achieve profits for longer time period.

members regarding assigning the particular, task it helps me to feel better and energetic. By

so comfortable in sharing my feeling to nay person regarding not accomplishing the task within

accomplished within the allotted time. This resulting in facing issue in accomplishing the task.

related to coordination. As I am not carrying the friendly nature at the time of communicating
with team members. The impact arises is that they are not sharing their problems which they are
facing at the time of completing the work. In such manner, I examined that their is both positive
and negative aspects which is learned from conducting the group activity.
The fifth stage is relating to conclusion in which I identified various aspects which is
relating to enhancing my skills and other factors in which I am lacking. From the whole report, I
find that I got the efficient team through which they accomplish the task and activity which is
assigned in better manner. The results which I got through conducting this group activity is that I
motive my team in better way and also need proper training to handle the risk so that I personally
solve the issue which is raised through advance technology. The negative aspects which I
realised is to reduce the communication gap, so that team members can easily discuss the
problems and also can resolve through personal efforts.
The last stage is relating to action plan which I feel is to be undertaken from the
conclusion. In this, I promise myself that I make few changes in my behaviour so that in next
time I plan the group activity with better perspective and also with less risk. I execute the action
plan in right manner so that I can manage the time effectively without any barriers and also
communicate personally and appoint the person as per their capability.
