From our group discussion made of I, Elena, Ansell, Karthik, Suraj, on a personal point
view, I can give a reflective feedback concerning what I feel concerning the discussion we held
about the 3 leaders who include Steve Jobs, Mahatma Gandhi, Margaret Thatcher. Firstly lets
consider a discussion on Steve Jobs. From our discussion, I strongly feel that this leader
embraced the virtue and spirit of creativity. Steve jobs were associated with lots of innovation in
what he termed as connecting the dots. From a personal point of view, is that anyone can achieve
all that they need and are capable of doing anything as long as they connect their everyday life
experience dots, claim their time and living their life with authenticity. (Jackson 2009)
Secondly, from the group discussion concerning mahatma Gandhi lessons, I can conclude
that it would be better for human beings to be examples and help initiate change they would wish
to see in the world. This is why this leader used to believe in the idea of practicing first before
preaching, believing in the power of truth since truth sets one free and how people should learn
from their own mistakes.
Lastly concerning Margaret Thatcher, considering the discussion we held, on an
individual feedback and conclusion I feel that the secret of success is determined by courage,
having set clear beliefs and applying decisiveness when it comes to times of crisis. Moreover,
high intellectual capacity and physical strength are also needed and one should never comprise
doing what is right. (Fidel 2009)
