INTRODUCTION
Every business need flexible working which can help in operate all the business
operations and activities in an effective manner. Flexible working is mainly concerned with
working hours to perform the tasks in a specific way which also can help to connect all the
employees together so that they can easily work together. Flexible working is considered as the
most essential part of Human Resource. HR manager of the organisation contain Flexible
Woking as a strategy. Flexible working lead many positive changes in employees behaviour and
help to improve their attitude toward their work. Flexible working include office time,
employment nature whether it is full time or part time job. Outsourcing include many operations
in which a organisation tie up with other one that mainly present outside the country & domestic
organisation which give services to customers on behalf of other country. With the help of this
outsourcing practices, many organisation can perform their operation internationally. To carry
out this report, SMART PA and ABACUS- CAMBRIDGE PARTNERS organisation considered
which are providing outsourcing services in UK. The main motive of this report is to cover
various aspects of flexible working & environment and also determine the importance of flexible
working as per the working pattern. This report also discuss the evaluation of outsourcing of two
organisation. Moreover, this report will cover outsourcing of HR activities and also discuss the
HRM theory.

Explain flexible working & Outline the reasons why organisation are increasing flexibility
of working patterns?
Organisation need an appropriate strategy that can help to maintain the overall operations
that are doing by the employees. Manager of the organisation is responsible to formulate a
strategic strategy that can help to improve the efficiency level of employees so that they can
easily perform their job role. Manager of the organisation use specific strategy “Flexible
Working” for their employees so that they can perform their job comfortably and participate in
the growth of organisation (Ashbridge and Josephidou, 2018). Flexible Working also known as
Flexible time that mainly demonstrate the non-traditional arrangement of task that require
employees personal needs like flexibility in working hours, time and work from home. Basically

flexible working consider as 9 to 5 job and that mainly exist in UK, Some organisations of UK
offered flexible working and supportive environment of their employees so that those employees
who have family and Chilterns are work comfortably. On the basis of UK laws, those employees
who have children that belong to 1 to 6 years age groups and those have disable children less
than 18 years age , have proper legal right to ask company for flexible working time and
arrangements. Flexible working hours can help in working life balance so that employees can
manage their personal & professional life both so that they can effectively reduce their stress and
anxiety level. There are numerous benefits of flexible working for the organisation too such as
decrease level of employee turnover, decline in absenteeism etc. HR manager of the organisation
maintain the records of the employees related to their performance and productivity so that
manager can determine weak employees who are not perform their job in a best manner and also
analyse their personal and professional life issues and after that provide them flexible working
hours and time so that they can tackle all their issues and perform well. Flexible working
determine as an arrangement between employers and employees and also consider some factors
like workforce, workplace and schedule (Coben and McCartney, 2016).Workforce is contain as
the prominent part of the organisation and workplace depicts the positive environment of the
organisation and work schedule represent, the time in which employees can work for the
organisation. As per the employer , it is considered as freelancer schedule. Basically flexible
working comprises many ways like part time job, work from home, alternative job schedule,
temporary job and casual job etc. employees have all options, they can pick one and perform
their job responsibilities as per the flexible working .
Every organisation want to improve the productivity of their organisation and
organisation pay more attention to their employees because they that employee’s can help to
achieve the success so its responsibility of the organisation manager to focus on employees needs
and provide them healthy environment because healthy & happy employees are the backbone of
organisation. Flexibility provide many advantage to the employees and employer both in a
positive way. The description about the example of flexibility working are discussed below-
Increase employees Retention, To provide proper flexible hours will help to improve the
level of employees retention in organisation. Flexible schedule can boost employees performance
level and also help them to manage their family life which will lead the high employees retention
so that top talent remain long time period.

employee and his wife both are working then in this situation, organisation can give flexible
working time and hours so that one can attend office at morning and one can go office at night so
that anyone can easily take care of their child. Flexible working can support full time job for both
person and also reduce the cost of child care so it is mandatory for the organisation to provide
flexible working to their employees so that the can manage their work and family life and
contribute in the organisation growth.

Outsourcing is consider as the practice that help to arrangement between various firms.
In Outsourcing, all the job related functions are formed to the 3rd party and most of the time, this
practice involve the activity like transfer employees assents from one company to another.
Outsourcing are three types such as Local Outsourcing , Offshore Outsourcing and Nearshore
Outsourcing. All these outsourcing are crucial for the organisation. Local Outsourcing, in this
outsourcing domestic country will be selected. In Offshore Outsourcing, team will be identify
somewhere in Asia. In Nearshore Outsourcing, country which is not even far are choose for the
outsourcing business. Outsourcing is useful and also provide many advantage for organisation
and help the companies to accomplish their goals. Outsourcing can provide addition value and
decline the risk so that companies can perform their job easily. Outsourcing is beneficial
because it improve efficiency level and develop the product and cut the over cost and also
provide opportunities to the companies so that they can focus on their core competencies
(Heman, 2017).
Outsourcing practices are essential for the organisation because it can help to full fill the
aim of the companies and help in the task process so that all the business operations conducting
in a right manner. For instance, BPO companies can provide the best outsourcing and also help
to operate business activities one country to another country. There are two type of BPO include
back office and front office. Back office BPO responsible to internal functions and front office
BPO responsible to maintain the good relation with customers and help the companies to create
good relation with customers via provide good customer services such as technical and
marketing related services (Islam, 2018). It is considered that informational related technology
outsourcing is a best subset and tool for outsourcing process for the business. KPO ( Knowledge
process outsourcing contain that kind of outsourcing process that require an analysis so that a
high level of research is used, this is also consider decision making skills according to the
research which is conducted.
There are two examples are discuss related to the companies which are providing
outsourcing services. Two companies are considered first is SMART PA and second is Abacus
Cambridge Partners. SMART PA is a BPO company that basically founded in 2008 with 260
employees that mainly provide services to different sector of clients. Many services like

planning, marketing planning, event marketing etc. In BPO sector, all the employees are taking
the call from their employees and employees role is to answer the call of their client and address
and solve their problems in a right way. In context of Abacus Cambridge partner, this is also
belong from BPO sector that established in 2017 and considered around 50 employees work as
co-ordinator voice & some employees as ERP consultants of system integrator. All the call
operators get advance level training so that they can easily adopt the internal outsourcing process
(Mosey, Noke and Kirkham, 2017). It is critical for all organisation to properly implement the
outsourcing as take it as an opportunity so that they can improve the performance level. It is a
fact that all client want high quality services at low price but organisation continuously try to
raise the price so that they can get more revenue. The main reason to fail outsourcing is rush in
outsource as per the absence of employees and business case.
There are various benefits of outsourcing like help to improve the performance level to
provide high class training so that employees can improve their skills and lean expert knowledge.
The main reason in the outsourcing success is that small business because small business
complete their task in a best manner and quickly. Massive number of candidate hired by the
organisation so that they can work fast to provide best services to their customers. There are
many benefits are considered in Outsourcing Digital like it can help to maintain the substantial
differences in term of time zone and holidays (Papakosmas, 2016). .It can help to decrease the
cost and appoint full time job candidate so that they can work permanently but they are
expensive as compared to the other outsourcing work. Outsourcing help to generate more money
so that employees can save some amount of money and it can also provide various profit to the
organisation. Another advantage is that it can help in planning and also execution of the plan so
that organisation easily implement and target the right projects & campaigns. Outsourcing can
take lots of risk and use some kind of experiment for the exposure. BOP and KPO both are
taking more competitive advantage in the market with the use of outsourcing stimulates,
employment and exports so that they can lead long term success (Sharpe, et. al., 2018).
Outsourcing also helpful to provide knowledge an support their employees so that
employees performance and company goodwill can increase. Outsourcing should focus on the
core process so that best outcome will come. It also can reduce the pressure of investment
because latest technology, software and high infrastructure necessary so it is the duty of
outsource partner to take the whole responsibility of infrastructure.

outsource HR activities are related to the single and combined as per the offshore destination. It
is analysed that HR outsourcing is consider as the good initiative that can help to focus on
internal process and resources and help the manager to find out the best outcome and monitor the
bottom line. HR outsourcing can help to gain the high cost and time and also make a working
strategy which can provide the specific services to their employees (Tomany, 2016).
HR can help to develop a strategic organisational strategies which will help in the overall

activities. Mainly outsourcing utilised by the company to manage the work related to payroll and
help the company to save the time and money. Main advantage of payroll as per the outsourcing
of HR activities, it can helpful for specialist in context of time so that they can pay more concern
in the core area of their business and help to reduce the errors like late tax and tax pay.
Disadvantage is that it is very high cost while the company is new and on their initial level and
there is also a fear to leak the confidential detail about the employees.
Rewards & Recognition to management, HR manger is responsible to provide the
recognisance and encouragement to their employees so that they can do their task with full of
energy and dedication. On the basis of increment in the total number of companies in context of
outsourcing, there are many responsibilities that played by the external specialist so that they
can manage the performance of the employees so that they can gain more profitability. Some
kind of reward and recognisance is necessary to boost the performance of employees. There are
various advantage of this like it can help to maintain the productivity and efficiency of
employees. This disadvantage of this is that, it is critical for the HR manager to maintain such
type of programs. HR manager and external specialist are mainly responsible to conduct the
reward and other motivational programs for the employees. It can provide various advantage to
the employees and organisation. With the help of this, organisation can create good employee
engagement among all the employees so that they can work together. Lack of management
control and less security are disadvantage.
Relocation, the need of this is to tackle the unexpected situation, is consider the main
reason. Professionals are considering many outsourcing relocation factors that include audit,
shipment control , claim, supplementary expenses. Most of international companies are work like
a national companies in context of outsource relocation and its services. The main advantage of
this , it can help to improve the efficiency and help the organisation to conduct their business

activities like creativity, habits, skills and knowledge and also professional and personal
attributes as per the high performance of employees which can contribute in the country
economy and create more economical value. This theory contain that proper education & training
sessions improve the performance and knowledge of employees so that they can help to achieve
the organisational goal.

As per this report it can be concluded that every organisation want to gain more profit
advantage so that organisation need to follow specific strategic strategies so that organisation
easily obtain more profitability. It is analysed that mostly organisation used Flexible working
