Newsletter is defined as a printed report which contains information and news about an
organisation and its business activities. As per views of Worrall (2019), it is sent via mail to
those individuals which are linked or interested in the affairs of company. This assignment is
based on Byron resources which is a recruiting firm specialising in securing and sourcing high
talent. In this report, a newsletter will be prepared to motivate staff so that they can attend
weekend retreat on leadership which is organised by Byron Resources. In this retreat, employees
will be given guidance to develop their leadership skills by following learnings of “The 7 Habits
of Highly Effective People”.
MAIN BODY
WEEKEND RETREAT

This weekend Byron Resources is going to organise a retreat that will be based on Leadership.
Entire theme of this retreat will be based on “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” which is
a book written by Stephen Covey. According to Covey, effective people have some habits
which enhances their effectiveness in comparison with normal people. These habits makes a
person more efficient and reliable due to which developing at professional and personal level
became easier. According to Frost (2016), At professional level, right leadership skills will
results in attainment of goals with expected outcomes. Employees of Byron Resources are
heartily welcomed and expected to join this event with full enthusiasm and spirit.

Learning about habits of efficient people will benefits in identification of individual
strength which will leads to maximised working potential among people.

in finance department. Selicaro has read this book and implemented its learning in
working life. This has improved his working capability and now he is appointed as the

profits and revenues in an efficient manner. We hope maximum people will be part of this event
to make it successful.
