The student uses diary entries and a weekly journal to document experiences from seminars, workshops, and personal life, analyzing instances like the Inter School Championship, Science College admission, Annual Company Dinner, and other significant events. Through these reflections, the student identifies key assumptions about their leadership style, including patience, team cohesiveness, and participative leadership. The student acknowledges areas for improvement, such as managing failures and developing skills, and outlines actions to enhance their leadership capabilities, like practicing problem-solving and improving communication. Diary entries:
The diary entries will be about the different experiences that I have gone through in the
course of the seminar and also the different other workshops. These economies have helped me
to understand about the different areas of strengths and the different areas of weakness that are
actually present in me. As per my opinion it is really very useful to keep a weekly journal of all
the different activities or the different experiences that I have undertaken in the course of life.
There have been several hero and also several zero moments.
It is through these moments that I have been able to understand the different aspects in
which I will have to improve in the long run. I feel that I have to work over my patience level.
One of zero moment was when I was not able to get nominated for the best employee award.
This was because I was disheartened as I did not get nominated. I felt that there was a huge
partiality going on. I feel that I am having a good level of patience as I was also able to get over
this mind ser very soon and work for gaining a strong mindset.

Reflection
Self reflection is one of the most useful ways that help in understanding about the different
area in which I have to improve myself in the future days. In order to get a good understanding
of all the strengths and the weaknesses that are present within me I thought of using the method
of maintaining a day to day junior a weekly entry system so that I am able to get an organized
view and opinion of myself and all the other colleagues and class mates who had been part of the
different workshops or the different other sessions. In order to become an ideal leader in the near
future it is essential for me to understand about the different challenges that might come up in
future. I will have to deal with all those challenges in a proper way and make sure that I am
being able to support all the different needs and demands of my team members so that they can
put forward a joint collaborative effort and make sure that they are able to achieve the long term
goals and the objectives of the organization.

Interpretation
I have realized that there were no problems faced in developing the zero and the hero points.
This is because I was able to keep a close look over the different incidents that I went through
during the entire course of my work life till present. I have been able to realize from the Hero
Moments#1 - Inter School Championship (1995) that-
I have been able to realize that I have empathetic skill which can be a great help to support
all the different team members during the times of emotional outbreak. I realized that the
different students who have taken part in the Inter school football Championship game are
suffering from lack of moral and emotion al support. In order to help them out I joined as the
captain. I knew that I am not very good in the art of playing. I realized that I am not able to play
football well but I will be able to understand the morale of the players and help them respect
each other. In saw that we were finally able to win the match and all the participants were able to
find out and embrace the differences that are present between them.
Zero Moments#1 – Science Collage Admission (1996)
This is also a zero moment as I have been able to realize that at time failures and sad
memories helps us in becoming stronger and in dealing with several challenges. This will be
helping in making us prepared for the different difficulties that can arrive in the future days. I
was really sad as I did not get chance in the top science college. I realized that I will have to
work hard in order to get over the different challenges that might come in my path of working as
a leader.
I have been able to get this observation that I will be able to identify myself as an able
leader. A true leader is one who is able to support all the different needs and demands of their

employees or their team members. It must be noted that in order to be a good leader in the
modern day scenario the transformational leadership theory must be followed so that the leader
can create a change or a transformation among his employees by supporting them throughout. I
will always make sure to follow the theory of transformational leadership because I believe that
no one is born great or born a leader, rather it is the willpower or the zeal that is present within
each and every individual that can help them to rise to the position of a leader. I will try to work
hard and make sure that I am able to understand all the problems that are being faced by the
employees.
Key assumptions are that I have lot of patience and I can work for the overall
development of the team members and make sure that I am being able to help them out for their
future. Though I am aware of the fact that I do no posses all the needed skills and developments,
yet I have patience and the willpower to make sure that I am being able to work over the
different areas of weakness and prepare myself for future. I have to make sure that I am not
giving up on any kinds of failures or in any kinds of shortcomings. I will have to work very hard
in order to make sure that I am being able to understand the skill gaps that are actually present
among the different employees. This will surely help me to make some good and useful use of
the hero and zero summary so that I can establish myself as one of the ideal leader in the near
future.

One of my key assumptions is that I will be able to develop team cohesiveness and
also make sure that all the team members are taking part in the different business decisions. In
other words I am able to boost up the morale of the employees and make sure that I am being
able to help the employees in developing their skills. I feel that in the near future I will be able to
act like a responsible and an emotionally intelligent leader. This is evident from the hero moment
that I got in the year ‘’ Hero Moments#2 - Annual Company Dinner (2009)’’ I realized that I
am good at management and budgeting skills. It was during the time of Annual Company
Dinner & Dance (D&D). As I was able to manage the entire function within a very limited
amount of money and then make sure that all the employees are also feeling very happy.
Therefore I have the key assumption that I will be able to help and support my employees in any
matter where they feel tensed or are suffering from the feeling of unhappiness.
I am also of the opinion that participative leadership is useful in the modern day
management and organizational set up. This must be ensured that all the different employees of
the organization are being able to take part in the decision making process of the organization.
Participative leadership is one of the most useful approach in this modern day scenario as it will
help in understanding about the feedbacks and the opinions that are being forwarded by the
different employees or the team members I have this assumption about myself as I have always
got a very positive feedback from my colleagues, seniors and also from my friends regarding my
organizing and management skills. This is useful because I am able to imbibe a feeling of
happiness and cooperation among all the different employees. This helps in keeping the
employees or the team members happy and they are able to contribute in the organizational
success.

I am a good sense maker as I am able to understand about the different lessons that I need
to learn from the different mistakes that I commit. I always make sure that even if I am not
getting success in the first instance I must not give up. I always try to keep on attempting the
work and applying efforts before I am able to achieve success.
I am also good at inventing. This is evident from the conduction of the dance and the
dinner program within a very limited company budget. At the same time I was also able to make
sure that all the employees from different departments are taking part in the program and are
being given the needed compensation or the special prizes. Thus I will be able to use the
transactional leadership in order to make sure that the employees are being given the proper
compensation or the rewards as per their contribution in the work.

Action:
As per my opinion I have been able to maintain a self regulation and make sure that I am
being able to understand all the incidents of success and failures. I have been able to exhibit a
sound organizing skill and also made sure that all my team members are being able to reach out
to me whenever necessary.
I will stop engaging in wasting trying some very tough work or projects right in the first
go. This is because I often feel sad and disheartened whenever I am about to try out a very tough
wok and I suffer from failure. This is because I feel that I have disheartened my parents or others
who kept their high expectations from me. This leads to an emotional breakdown and I feel that I
am of no good and this in turn has many negative impacts on my current work. I will have to
work over my weakness like overconfidence or lack of the understanding that there can be
several failures in the path of working. I will have to inculcate the habit of practicing hard so that
I am able to focus on all the future prospects without thinking about the failures that I have been
suffering in the past.
I must start engaging in the practicing of math and other logical problem solving. This is
because the technologies are developing day by day and the level of competition is also at a huge
surge. In order to make say that I am able to keep pace along with that I will have to keep on
developing my knowledge base and also my area of expertise.

I will also try to engage in communication process so that the company is able to talk with
me before putting me out from the important business decision. However initially I felt that it is
the fault of the company that they are driving me out at the end of the essential business
decisions but I have now realized that I must start seeing the faults within myself and then start
thinking about the decisions of the company or of the management.
