1PERSONAL REFLECTION
What have you learnt about yourself and your leadership style?
From my past experiences I have learned many lessons in successive leadership position.
The main point which I want to explore is that leadership is not about a particular people doing a
particular task. But however it is all about how a person is carrying out himself or herself in a
particular problematic situation. Regarding my leadership style I have learned that I particularly
believe on the transformational leadership style where I do change my character and decision
based on the changes in the environment (Jasper, 2018).
How would you describe yourself as a leader now? What is your leadership edge?
Regarding the description of myself as a leader I just have to say that as because I mainly
follow the transformational leadership, I generally try to encourage, inspire, and as well as
motivate my fellow people in order to innovate and create a change within themselves. Creating
a change within oneself mainly helps a person to help grow better and bring a shape for the
future success of the company. Regarding the fact of leadership edge it can be said that i
generally used transformational leadership as a problem solving capacity.
Have any of the perceptions about yourself changed during your participation in this
programme?
Yes many of perception has changed when I got involved into the programme like I am
no longer locked within the struggle point to connect with the environment where people are
known for only living with themselves. I cannot ever think of only thinking about myself, as
because I always think for other and therefore try to help others as much as I can. I also try to
communicate with people effectively and manage out problems (Jackson, 2017).

2PERSONAL REFLECTION
Is there anything surprising that you discovered about yourself?
When I was a teenager, I was filled with turmoil and it was a very difficult time for me. I
was in my tenth grade when I usually used to go to depression almost more than 4 times a month,
but however my mother was an angel she was the only person who used to guide me in every
moment. She had therefore guided me to join in some clubs and NGOs in the college which was
associated by spreading the awareness of social evils. However after few months of association I
realized that I was no more suffering from any kind of depression (Silver, Armstrong and
Tussey, 2018).
What aspects of the programme resonated with you, given your leadership development plans?
There were various types of programs which I used to conduct in the camps of spreading
the awareness of social evil. I joined and as well as used to lead various types of small groups in
the programme. I used to get involved by acquiring more people from the college and made my
team bigger. I therefore recognized that I had good leadership skills within myself. This made
me indulge myself in transformational leadership practices.
Do you feel that you have a better understanding of how you need to develop, adapt, or change
as you continue your leadership journey?
No I do not think I truly have a better understanding of how I need to develop myself and
what are the changes I need to develop within myself in order to continue the leadership journey
in my life. I need a mentor or a coach who will always help me out in order to get over difficult
things, and assist me (Hope 2017).
