Self- awareness is the capacity to focus our attention on ourselves and evaluate our
behaviour, our thoughts and emotions. Have a clear perception of our personality including
strengths and weaknesses. To be self- aware give you the possibility to understand other
people and how they perceive you.
Why is this core skill important? (use relevant theories and concepts to support
your answer).
It is important to develop self-awareness because I can be able to make changes in my
thoughts and, also take control pf my behaviour and my emotions. Durgut, Gerakan and
Pehlivan (2013) state that emotions have an important role on human life and they can not
be separate from interpersonal relationships through physical and spiritual health. Also,
Johnson (2009) said that emotional health is fundamental to effective learning and most
critical element of a student’s success is an understanding of how to learn.
Self-awareness is important because, when we have a better understanding of our self we
can be unique and separate individuals.

According, to Junk personality type test I made, the description I choose about my
behaviour indicate that the personality type the most describe me is Extravert-Sensor-
Feeler-Judger, which totally I am agreed.
Like Extravert I am an energetic and action-oriented, enthusiastic and expressive person.

Feeler. I let my feelings and emotions play a leading role because of my concerns for other
people.
Judger. I prefer a life style that is decisive, planned and orderly. I like a life that is
organized and controlled.
Also from Belbin Team Roles test I made appears that I am a Driver. Generally very
ambitious and energetic. I can be impatient and impulsive, a strong motivator and
sometimes somewhat emotional.

According to Jung personality test, I think is a good overview of my personality and my
behaviour but from my experience the Feeler personality gave me most of the time
difficulty on managing my team. For example: because I care of people and I tend to have
friendly relationship with my team, I ignore details and the team respond slow to what I
delegate them to do (Barnard and Curry, 2011). This I think is my allowable weaknesses.
In the same time from Belbin test I find myself more a Team player than a Driver. I don’t
think of my self being challenging others at crucial times. As a team player, I am a caring,
avoids conflicts, and fosters harmony person.

By self awareness it become easy for me to communicate with each and every future
aspect. By this skill my future scope get expand through identify all weak areas of mine. As
by them adaptation of proper strategies aid me in developing them.

According to Honey Mumford style of learning is a style of questionnaire through which
aspects in future get developed (Denny and et. al., 2012). This core skill is important as per
the context of future in which maximisation of self things is must.
Learning is consider as one of a most helpful and appropriate skill through which I can
present everything in front of others properly. By using the theory I can evaluate myself for
taking a beneficial decision for future growth and development.

I am very competent as according to this skill in which my learning style is good. As
according to this, I am become able to deal with any situation while remembering what I
have learnt in what class or seminar (Gervais and Norenzayan, 2012). I can evaluate
myself by using my tutor and friends with a help of conversation with them. As tutor aid me
where I am wrong so that proper learning process can be made and skill can implement
properly. I am more compatible than other batch mates as per my tutor view point.

Yes, one of a major weakness of this theory is that I am not getting the things properly
which lead to create disturbance at the time of communicating such material with others.
My whole works get done in hurry and this is a major reason behind the weakness of my
learning. Hence, my learning skill get affected by this factor which have to overcome in a
well defined time period.

By applying this skill in me it become easy for me to communicate with every listening
problem. Moreover, this learning skill support me to get the things in near future and learn

command can provided properly. Communication skill is beneficial for making operations
effective.

According to my friends my skills are good but I really require some area to get improved. I
am capable to deal with every person but sometimes get hesitate which create a negative
impact on other. This negative impact is not beneficial for further future and my personality
will not sound good at all. As for such relation, communication skill have to improvize.

One of a major weakness by my analysis is that I get hesitate in front of others. This is my
weakness that when ever is see some more people I become disable to communicate with

Leading a team is an effective thing because it is must for me to to built an effective team.
As this is a core skill which have to get developed in me because by this my work become

opportunity I have to lead a team properly. This aid me in bringing out to deal with every
sort of problems which arise due to various culture people.
