4.2 Report on the usefulness of methods used to plan the
development of leadership skills
There are variety of methods that can be used by the
organisation to develop its leadership skills. Self
awareness, identification of leaders potential, acknowledge
the strength and weakness of the leaders, and development
of the core competency as some of the method that can be
used used.
Use of methods like integrity, coaching and mentoring
provides feedback, advice and developmental actions
which will help the company. Classroom education like
role modelling, games, presentation, imitations are some of
the activities that can assist the leader to grow and develop
its leadership skills.
