The report is about the result of some tests which are related to leadership and entrepreneurship
as the through these tests, it demonstrates the way entrepreneurial traits and leadership styles
influence and add value to business organizations.
From the leadership self-assessment test my final score was 24 and by undertaking this test it
gave me an opportunity for assessing and reflecting my capabilities and also my desire for
developing leadership skills. It involves all the skills which are required by an individual to
become a great and successful leader. Developing the leadership and entrepreneurial skills will
the leader to enhance their productivity of the team and employees. All these leads to translate
the ideas and talent of human resources into profitable businesses by better decision making
(Holt, Hall. and Gilley,2018).
From the leadership test it was found out that it is almost always true that I enjoy
communicating with others. I give important and necessary information to the people when they
are need for undertaking their jobs. I also use follow ups and this quality of mine will help in
identifying the deviations in the task and can take corrective actions as soon as possible to avoid
any emergency situation. I also take feedbacks and ask questions which helps in knowing my
strengths and weakness. Also I have a high tolerance power and flexibility (Johannessen. and
Stokvik, 2018). I also treat people with respect and dignity and I make myself available when
anyone needs my help. On the contrary the points at which are not true are that I make a specific
budget for my department and for an open job position, I interview and select most qualified
person. The following are the things which are occasionally true are that decisions taken by me
are with input from others. I constructively criticize and address to the problems and after all the
analysis I found out that I am well on my way to become a leader.
Also from the leadership test based on the style I came to know that I am a very high
range authoritarian leader. As I strongly agree that employees need to be supervised properly
otherwise they will not perform the task as per the standards. I also agree on the fact that the
basic nature of employees is that they are lazy and believe that to motivate the employees’
rewards and punishments must be used in order to achieve the objectives of the organisation
(Nazarian, Soares. and Lottermoser, 2017). I also strongly agree on the point that employees
need to be directed about the work which they have to perform as they feel insecure about their

judge of employee's performance is the leader of the group as he or she know the capabilities. I
also believe that an effective leader clarifies procedures and also they give orders. A leadership
style is the way or method by which the leader provides direction, motivation to the employees.
It refers to a behaviour pattern of a person that helps in guiding and managing the people under
him or her (Prommer, Tiberius. and Kraus, 2020).
Also the democratic leadership style possessed by me is also on the very high range
which I get to know after undertaking this test. From the test I strongly agree that employees are
very much interested to be a part when the company takes any decision and also I believe to give
this opportunity of participation. I agree on that fact that key to be a good leader is to provide the
guidance without any pressure from the outside force. I strongly agree that communication is the
important aspect for employees as they want to communicate with the leader on a frequent basis.
Subordinates must accept responsibility of the work to be performed and completed and also
leaders need to help them accept the same (Cathro, O’Kane. and Gilbertson, 2017). I also believe
that my job as a leader will be to help my subordinates find out their passion so that they feel
motivated and strive to achieve their self-actualisation needs. I also agree on the point that people
are competent and when I will give them any work or task then they will perform better.
My laissez-faire style of leadership comes under the moderate range as I disagree that
subordinates must be given freedom to work out on their own in a complex situation. I will not
let the subordinates do whatever they like but give them certain freedom for participation for
certain aspects. Also I disagree on the fact that leader must stay away when the subordinates are
working as subordinates possess less experience than the leaders therefore a guidance must be
provided on a regular basis and freedom of actions must be provided to the subordinates (Adnan.
and Valliappan, 2019). I strongly agree on the rule that subordinates must appraise their own
work and leader musty allow the subordinate for the same. I am neutral on the fact that Complete
freedom must be given to the subordinates to solve their own problems by the leaders. Also I
strongly agree that in most situations little inputs are preferred by the subordinates on the part of
leader. But I strongly disagree on the point that subordinates must be left alone.
From different metrics I came to know that my creativity score is 78.76. The matrix
which determine the creativity level are abstraction, connection, paradox, complexity,
perspective, persistence, curiosity and boldness.

The second test was based on the enterprise potential in which agreement and
disagreement has to be given for thinking about enterprise. I agreed on the points like If the pay
and pension are good then I would not mind to do the unchallenging tasks and like to take up
new areas to work and test my boundaries as only few have worked in that area. I will not tend to
stand out or be unconventional but agree on the fact that capable people that have not taken
chances or tap the opportunities it occurred are an example of a big fail. I also find uneasy to stop
of switch off the work completely and also I like to take up challenging work that stretched my
abilities as I easily get bored at the things which I can do with ease. Also I have the steer to do
the projects as my own way without thinking about what others will think of me. I have the
capabilities to establish a new venture or if I may work in an organization would surely add on
something good to them.
I also think very deeply and also I am obsessed about the thinking about some
information until I get some solution out of it and once I have a planned something I make sure
that they are achieved. I do not like to change my normal or daily routine by any unexpected
changes in the schedule. As I need prior notice or information of the same. I also like to take
various risks as in case if the success chances are 50/50 then also I will go ahead with the plan
and if in case I have a good idea by which money can be made then I would take the risk of
investing my time into it and also will borrow money. Also I accept the things which happens in
my life as I believe that everything happens for a reason and it is to teach us something. People
with whom I work thinks that I always strive to make changes and trying out new ideas.
The points at which I disagreed were that I find it easy to forget about the work on the
holidays and can relax properly within thinking or taking concern of the same. And because of so
many ideas coming to my mind sometimes feel pressurised. I also disagree on the fact that
destiny determines what happens to me in life on the contrary I believe that majorly hard work
and some amount of luck both gets me through. Right place and right time is necessary to be
successful and I will not perform the work if there are chances of failure (Moldoveanu. and
Narayandas, 2019). I also does not agree on the fact that I think more about the present and past
as compared to future. If I am facing any problem with the task which has to be performed then I
leave or forget the task. I tend to disagree that I would not prefer to get a higher income in a job
which depends upon my performance and would settle for a secure job which have moderate
income. People sometimes find my ideas unusual and efforts makes no difference either it is my

determined to meet the objectives at the time of difficulties. If the task needs my time or efforts
more than I am ready to give the same. As the need for achievement score is medium which
means that I am good are achieving the work and life balance.
I recognized that I am somewhat independent and the score is medium in case of need of
autonomy as I may be happy to work as an intrapreneur or also as a valuable member of an
organization. Also the score for the creativity was medium as I am good at finding an applying
new technologies in a very skilful way.
The risk taking score was also medium as I am decisive and good at judging when the
information with me is complete and sufficient. Also I am good at analytics and set goals which
are challenging and attainable for myself. I can manage the information effectively as I calculate
the probability of success of the actions.
After this test I got to know that the locus of control is high as I am an opportunist and
have self-confidence on myself. Also take responsibility on my personal ends to achieve success
and I am very determined to take control over my life.

venture or working effectively in any organization using these core skills that brings in
