Part-1
Introduction
A leadership style is a leader's method of providing direction, implementing plans, and
motivating people (Scott et al., 2018). Various authors have proposed identifying many different
leadership styles as exhibited by leaders in the political, business or other fields (Khorakian &
Sharifirad, 2019). Therefore, in the report reflective analysis is done by describing leadership
theories and styles adopted by managers. The report also describe key stakeholders involved in
developing vision, mission.
Leadership theories and organizational behavior
In my opinion, there are some major questions such as what is the type of leadership I adopt
while guiding the employees and the other question is did I succeed everyone around me which
leaders asked from itself to understand the capability of themselves. The leadership should have
effective and major aspects to succeed in future which includes efficient communication it is
because of communicating right message to the right person (Mango, 2018). The other aspect is
creativity in which leaders should be creative to provide innovative decision and plans so that
overall objective will be achieved.
I believe that leadership style is considered the approach and procedure of giving guidance to the
other people in the organization. This also supports the employees by encouraging them to
perform efficiently. The contingency leadership style and theory, transformational leadership and
servant leadership style are the different leadership style which is suitable and relevant for the
uncertain and complex environment of business (Connolly et al., 2019). In my opinion, aspiring
leaders require appropriate knowledge for all leadership style because they have to deal with
various complex situations in the organization and has to manage diversity of people.
Organizational mission and vision
I perceive that organizational mission describe the overall goals and objectives of the
organization. It also demonstrates the framework through which employees can accomplish the

objective. The vision is the means of approach which defines the purpose of the organization
which employees has to achieve in future (Hsieh & Liou, 2018). It also defines the values and
philosophies of the organization. In my opinion leaders link the mission and vision with the
needs and demand of the team members. The leaders also contribute by analyzing the internal
and external organizational environment (Mango, 2018). I believe that stakeholders such as
employees provide several ideas in developing the mission, the other stakeholders include
suppliers and investors also contribute by providing the opinions about achievable outcomes.
The aspiring leaders measure the contributions of all the stakeholders because of deciding the
involvement of the each members of the organization. So that strategies will be made to involve
the other persons that principles of more participation will be accomplished by the leaders
(Rudolph et al., 2018). Therefore, in my opinion the estimation shows that aspiring leaders play
significant role in development and growth of their team members. The aspiring leaders adopt
some leadership theories to encourage stakeholders which include behavioral leadership theory
and transactional theory.
Leadership strategies
In my opinion the leadership strategies is the type of approach and procedure which is made by
the leaders itself to guide and motivate the employees. In this leaders adopt suitable leadership
style so that both employees and organizational objective will be achieved (Khorakian &
Sharifirad, 2019). I also perceive that change leadership is the capability of the person to
encourage other people for building the platform to change. In this leader do various activities
which include managing the project, providing coaching, change organizational design (Tourish,
2019).
The organizational potential considered the ability and capability of the organization to perform
various activities. It also defines the characteristics and structure to accomplish the objective of
the organization. The business context is considered the specialized aspect which is used by
various organizations for particular activity. In this all the procedure and activities are performed
within the specified structure and procedure (Burnes et al., 2018). In my opinion aspiring leaders
understand various leadership strategies of different business context because of motivating the
team so that they show their skills and capabilities to accomplish the goal of the organization.

Motivational theory
In my opinion motivation theory is the procedure which is used by the leaders to encourage and
induce the team members to accomplish the goals of the objective. The leaders adopt Maslow’s
needs hierarchy theory, Adam’s equity theory to motivate the employees of the corporation
(Rudolph et al., 2018). I believe that there are intrinsic and extrinsic categories of motivation in
which intrinsic is related to the achievement, competence etc and extrinsic is related to the pay,
feedback etc. The employee motivation is considered the procedure and framework in which
leaders make necessary efforts to encourage employee in all activities of work-related.
I believe that appreciative inquiry is the approach of change management which focuses on
investigating the efficiency of the organization and identifying the reasons of efficiency. The
aspiring leaders adopt contingency, change leadership theory and servant leadership theory to
evaluate the degree and application of motivational theory in business context because through
this leaders understand the gap between the objective and efficiency of the employees (Scott et
al., 2018). Through this aspiring leaders also develop new motivational theories so that
inefficient employees also perform better because of high motivation.
Potential style of leadership
In my opinion, my leadership style s democratic because I believe to be involving everyone in
decision making and provide sufficient authority to the other members so that decision will be
made according to their capability and suitability. I provide guidance to the employees so that
they feel motivate and participate in all the activities of the organization. My key strengths are
good communication skills in which I communicate well according to the behavior and
capability of other members.
The other strength is to increase team work in the organization by using contingency leadership
so that I can adopt the change according to the needs and requirement of the situation. The key
challenges I find is diversity of the employees because of differences in the behavior of the
person. Therefore to increase the leadership ability I could adopt attend various training sessions
to learn discipline and to develop the ability for awareness of situation.

Conclusion
From the above it is conclude that leaders adopt various leadership theories such as transnational,
transformational to encourage the team members to provide positive results. Therefore, it is the
important approach which also supports organization to accomplish the overall objective. The
leaders also use motivational theories so that they can persuade all the employees in the
organization to give efficient outcomes.

Introduction
Leadership refers to the ability of an individual or an organization to guide individuals, teams, or
organizations toward the fulfillment of goals and objectives (Laureani & Antony, 2019).
Therefore, the leadership is the major aspect which induces everyone in the organization and
uses various strategies so that goals and objectives of the organization will be accomplished in
efficient manner. It is also estimated that leadership also support organization by maintaining
good environment in the organization (Lemoine et al., 2019). There are various leaders which
apply different leadership styles so that efficiency will be maintained in the organization. In this
report, the all role of servant leadership style are discussed, the evaluation of Kevin Johnson’s
leadership style by adopting appreciative inquiry technique are also identified. The report also
discussed the reasons of effectiveness as well as brand reputation which Johnson has in the
market. The recommendation is also provided in the report to increase profitability of Starbuck’s.
Servant leadership style
The servant leadership style is adopted by many leaders in the 21st century is to because serving
is the main objective of servant leadership. The estimation describes that earlier the main object
of the leaders is to work and perform according to the requirements of the company. However, in
the 21st century this leadership style focus mainly on indentifying the needs and requirements of
the company (Hoch et al., 2018). The servant leadership persuade the employees to perform by
keeping their needs on first priority and develop strategies so that they get develop and perform
their tasks in efficient manner. This type of leaders accomplish the activities by following the
norms and culture of the organization as well as also puts focus on the requirements of all the
associates which provide customer services rather than allowing them to serve the leaders (Ford
& Harding, 2018). Therefore, the estimation describes that the mindset of the leaders shift and
focus on serving this leads in increasing the development of the organization and also results in
personal growth of the employees.

due to complex and uncertain circumstances it become difficult for the management to use
servant leadership style because the estimation describes that in UK organization frequent

structure of the organization (Ford & Harding, 2018). The servant leadership can also reduce the
motivation level of the employees because the objective of this is to solve the problem when
occurred. In 21st century due to dynamic and uncertain environment it is difficult for the
managers to give efficient results this decrease the satisfaction among the employees.

The goal and objective of Starbucks is to encourage as well as to raise the spirit of the human

year 2018, 9% of the workforce are Black or African, 6% are Asian etc. Therefore CEO develops
