terms of the leadership styles that I demonstrate in my career as a manufacturing engineer. The

discuss the various competencies that I reveal in the completion of my daily job roles. The paper
further implements the competency mapping in order to demonstrate the proper development of
the competencies in the development of the overall performance of the given company.
The major strengths of mine lie in my compulsive nature. The leadership style that I
follow tend to help the concerned organization in dealing with the development of the
performance of the manufacturing department of the company in discussion, CNH Industrial. I
tend to follow the trends of the proper follow-up within the departments and this in turn helps in
the maintenance of the proper performance of the employees in terms of the job roles that have
been assigned to them. The leadership style that I have adopted in the development of the overall
performance of the employees within the department. The leadership style adopted within the
organization would help in the development of the work-life balance as maintained by the
organizational workforce. The leadership style that I have adopted is majorly known as the
democratic leadership style. This style of leadership tends to put major emphasis on the
collaboration among the employees of the organization as well as the proper flow of the
information within the given organization as well. This further involves the development of the
employee engagement with the incorporation of the various entertainment situations within the
organization thereby leading to the improvement of the work-life balance within the
organization.

The major weaknesses that are demonstrated in the work style of the organization refers
to the tendency of complete the various tasks that are assigned to me as well as my team in a
hurried manner. This leads to be undermining of the beneficial effects of the careful deliberation
in the completion of the tasks that are assigned to the team. The compulsive nature of the
democratic leadership helps in the begrudging of tasks that have assigned to the team. This in
turn leads to the unkind thoughts that I develop regarding my colleagues. The implementation of
the democratic leadership style would help me in developing a proper understanding of the needs
and the demands of the departmental workforce. The practice of the democratic leadership style
would also help me in developing a proper control over the impatience that I display at times.
The free-flow of the information in the democratic style further helps in the handling of the
various multiple activities that are undertaken by the departmental management and supervisors.
The proper participation of the employees of the department within the organization might
further help in the lowering of the time pressure for the proper completion of the job at hand.
I have been known to be demonstrating the democratic style of leadership. This helps me
in gaining a greater amount of advantage in terms of gaining a proper and just feedback from the
employees of the organization. The incorporation of the democratic leadership styles within the
company further helps me gain better access to the opportunities that I face in the given scenario.
The involvement of all the members of the organizational workforce helps in the proper
understanding of the experience of the subordinate employees who have been reporting to me on
a daily basis. The implementation of the democratic leadership style would help me in the proper
understanding of the issues that might arise due to the leadership roles that are undertaken by me.
This is due to the fact that the democratic leadership allows the employees of the organization to
interact amongst themselves thereby leading to the proper development of the issues that are

related to the leadership style and the managerial decisions that are undertaken by organizational
leaders as well. The implementation of the democratic style of leadership further helps in the

development of the required harmony within the business organization.
The major threats that I face in the development of my personal leadership style refers to
the issues in the management of the time that I am allowed for the completion of the task at hand.
The shorter time intervals are observed to pose an issue in the development of my personal
leadership styles. The implementation of democratic leadership style would help me to gain
major insight from the other team members who have been serving the department as well. This
would further help in the improvement of the overall performance of the company in the given
markets thereby leading to the increase in the competitive advantage that is maintained by the
organization in the given markets. The issues that are highlighted in this regard refer to the
increase in the huge amount of the demands of the organizational management with the passage
of time. The democratic leadership style that is implemented by me in the management of the
manufacturing unit helps in the understanding of the major challenges that are faced by the
company as well as leads me to reflect on myself and my activities in a more specific manner.
In lieu of the above discussion, it might be stated that the democratic leadership style has
been beneficial to the leadership style which in turn would help me in the development of the
concerned department of manufacturing within the organization. The implementation of the
democratic leadership style would further help in the enhancement of the employee engagement
