There are various kinds of leadership styles which can be used by leaders so that the team
members can be directed to perform their work efficiently: Autocratic: In this style the leaders are focused on results and efficiency and they give
strict guidelines and command to team members which must be followed to complete
work (Arnold and and et. al., 2015). Democratic: In this style the leaders consider the views and opinions of members so that
higher level of employee engagement ad workplace satisfaction can be achieved.
Coaching: This style can help the leaders in coaching employees so that they can be
directed to perform their work efficiently and also their weaknesses can be reduced.
Compare and contrast
In autocratic leadership style the employees are given strict directions which are to be
followed by them to complete their work. In this style their views and opinions are not
considered and maximisation of results is the main aim so that quick and efficient decisions can
be made by leaders (DuBois and et. al., 2015).
In democratic leadership style the opinions and views of members are also considered
while taking decisions which help in increasing the value of employees in company. It also help
in increasing employee engagement so that the work efficiency and performance can be
enhanced.

employees can also be considered. This can help in generating innovative ideas which help the
