Leadership is defined as the ability of an individual to influence or guide members of an
organization for achieving a goal. A leader knows how to motivate the employees by giving
them innovative ideas and also helps them in understanding the system.
The report will include the characteristics for both autocratic and democratic leadership styles
and how these leadership styles are beneficial for any organization and that will be explained by
the help of an academic leadership model. The report will also elaborate the self-appraisal by

retention and morale. A great leader is the one who have empathy towards the other

Democratic leadership styles-Democratic leadership style
is the process in which every single individual is responsible
or have equal participation in the decision making process.
The word democracy means “anything which rune by the
help of people” and this word works well in running any
organization as well. There are many characteristics of using
the democratic leadership style while working in the
organization like this style helps in solving the complex issues
within the organization, this style can be used by any
individual in any type of industry, the democratic leaders
have a more set of ideas and concepts which can be applied
for running the organization or team in an more effective
manner, it enhances honesty amongst the employees and

leadership style for getting a team which dedicated and also motivated. Many organizations follow the democratic
leadership styles in the form of:

360 feedback is a key element for keeping the employees engaged and motivated at the workplace. The 360 degree
feedback is growing in popularity and it gives a view of employee performance.it have many benefits like
strengthening, accountability and collaboration among the team members.
