INTRODUCTION
As a leader many different managerial skills are required that help them to work together with
their team and complete the work by making faster decisions, motivating their colleagues and
subordinates. The Blake Mouton model of managerial skills are categorised into two different
ways concern of people and concern of task. Thus, model consist of five different leadership
styles impoverished, country club, middle of the road, authority or obedience and team leader.
The present report will discuss about significant issue faced during the working life and the
managerial styles that can be utilized to overcome them effectively.

TASK 1
Work life issues
Leadership is the most important part of an effective management. As being a leader there are so
many difficulties and challenges which have to be overcome by the leader and his team. Being a
leader is not a cup of tea for everyone. There are several external challenges too which has to
face by the leader. As being a leader, we should be really impartial to every worker and not do
any favouritism. As the difficulties faced being a leader are also faced by the workers to which
has to see by a leader only. The issue faced is the workers were not working and completing their
tasks as there was lack of morale, workers were leaving, the goodwill was also dropping down as
workers were not that satisfied and were not completing the tasks. The quitting of workers was
more as the full concentration was on production and not on the workers.
The other issue which is faced is that the technologies and the new inventions which are there
but not used as the workers are not that skilled and trained and have difficulty and using them so
because of that the production is low and the tasks not fulfilled on time. As the task and the
production is not done on time the goodwill automatically goes down and people don’t like to
work when where they are not that much skilled on the techniques of the machinery. These
issued faced makes the production and the goodwill on stake.

Managerial styles
For the above situation I have used do management styles country club and team leader.
According to the Blake mouton model of Managerial styles, both the styles are concerned for
people who help in solving the above situations.
The first situation fits with country club managerial style in which as a leader I paid
attention towards my employees thereby keeping them satisfied with the job and also building a
relation which will fulfil their needs and develop them personally and professionally. With this
skill I will build working culture that is flexible and comfortable for employees to work. Country
club is highly expensive for achieving the results As for this leader provides the Employees with
the training and development session and are also agreeable and eager to help their employees
are comforting then without any controversial situation is means country club is an effective
managerial and leadership style which provide a leader to be liked by all the subordinates and
also help in increasing the performance of the people there by taking care of their job
satisfaction.
I've also utilised the team leader leadership style there by focusing on both the performance
of the employee and the task as in this I was dedicated towards my people as well as towards the
organisational goals therefore the people were highly participating and cooperative to attend the
organisational goals through their teamwork this not only the satisfy the employees through their
involvement and contribution in the work it also help in attaining the organisational goals timely
the leaders of this category are more flexible, inspiring, open-minded and involved.
TASK 3
Solution to issue
The value of the Blake Mouton Managerial Grid is that it can help us to become cognizant of our
leadership style so that we can place high emphasis on both people and production. As being a
leader, I have to take steps to have a balance on both the sides (i.e.) the workers and the
production as I be the middle person between the workers and the management. The Blake
Mouton Managerial Grid has the styles which make it easier for me as being a leader to
understand their problems and difficulties.
