INTRODUCTION
In 21st century organisations with having effective organisational leadership ensure
accomplishment of organisational goals with having an aim towards undertaking maximum
advantages (Dunn and Doolittle, 2020). In this is essential for good business manager to have
efficient leadership skills as well as characteristics in their behaviour as to encourage employee’s
performance towards company vision. Present report has been conducted on leadership style for
skill of bases founder and CEO of Amazon Inc.
TASK 1
Effective leadership skills and characteristics importance for good business manager
Effective leadership skills and characteristic play important role for good business manager, as it
encourage them to effectively inspire other individuals towards goal. With having skills and
characteristics like ethical, determined, passionate, curious, confident, courageous, empowering
and collaborating good business manager can maximize employee’s productivity at great extent
through which company goals can be accomplished in a well defined manner.
In addition to this, effective leadership skills as well as characteristics act as most
important element for a good business manager as it allow them to effectively motivate
individuals by engaging them with company vision in a positive manner (Earley, 2020). Along
with this, effective leadership skills aid managers to build and coach a team who effectively
work towards accomplishment of business objectives in a well define and efficient manner. It
helps in increasing efficiency through which achievement of organisation goals and visions can
be ensured. With having effective leadership skills and characteristic managers can motivate,
guide, develop moral, create positive workplace environment for employees through which they
can maximize their efficiency at great extent. In addition to this it has been evaluated that
leadership skill as well as characteristics is important for manager as it benefit them to guide, as
in this manager by demonstrating their skills can effectively provide helpful guidance to their
employees and can further direct their performance in effective and efficient manner. Along with
this it has been determined that with having effective leadership skills managers can build
confidence among employees through which they can accomplish entity goal in more effective
manner. This has been identified that a good business manager explain roles and responsibility to
employees by giving them guidelines and clear parameter that maximize their performance as if

an employee is having clear position of their role then and they can work effectively towards
accomplishment of the task. Thus, as per according to the discussion it has been evaluated that
effective leadership skill and characteristics is key essential element that benefit a good business
manager to maximise performance of employees by motivating and guiding them in a positive
manner with having an aim to enhance organisational profitability.
Role that leadership plays in achieving the overall success of Amazon
Amazon operates their personal functioning as a leading organisation. Company believes
that employees are their major source of revenue generation, as their hard work acts as key
essential element for organisational success. Thus, in order to manage their behaviour and
stimulate them towards maximum advantages leadership play most important role that allows
Amazon to achieve overall success (Ruslana, 2020). Company strives to give their workers
autonomy. It benefits company to make their employees feel to have total control of their project.
Along with this, company aim towards allowing employees to undertake risk in order to provide
efficient and outcome with maximum success. In addition to this leadership also allow Amazon
to give their employees a meaningful vision by avoiding any form of confusion related to
organisation mission and goals (Howard and EddyImishue, G.E.K, 2020). One of the most
important role of leadership that play important factor for Amazon success is that they embrace
failure, it’s encourage employees to undertake risk and innovation in their work to provide
significant outcomes. Thus, according to the evaluation it has been identified that leadership act
as key essential element through which employees performance and behaviour are align
effectively towards company objectives. It not only allow respective organisation to increase job
satisfaction and morale among employees but also maximize capability of entity to generate
maximum profitability.

Jeff Bezos lead individuals within organisation as a transformational leader. With
