The acceptance of the digital technology will help in better handling of different
operations that will support rise in the productivity and profitability. With the advancement of
the latest technology for the execution of different operations that are been taken in effective
consideration. This will help the firm in making major changes that will help in better handling
of various operations in the business entity. This report will lay significant focus on the wide
variety of products and services to meet the customer's expectation. The report is based on the
wide variety of operations that have been taken at Swedigi, which is a business firm working in
music industry. This report will lay emphasis on various business operations and actions that
have been taken in the effective consideration by the organisation in order to handle its business
functions. It will lay emphasis on various business operations that will be taken by the current
CEO of the company, Mr. Jan. Also, various functions to implement the development and
launching of the new product in market.

1. The people management issues that potentially underpin the difficulties Jan is facing.
As Swedigi is facing gradual losses, subsequently from past three years, the company has
appointed Mr. Jan as their new CEO to manage their business and operations. The organisation is
facing the downturn and has to reduce the workforce due to increase the expenses and enabling
them to meet the functional requirements of the company. But all these measures are falling
inadequate for the business organisation and the firm has to look after the effective handling of
the different business operations and functions. Jan is facing the major issue of people or
workforce downturn and the lack of support from the management (Goleman, 2017). He is
facing a great deal of issues in managing the various people or employees of the organisation.
The employees are either leaving the job or have been turn down by the organisation, in order to
compensate the range of expenses and operational cost of the company.
The management team of Swedigi has found it harder to customise and alter their
products and services that will help the firm to handle various business operations in a better way
at the production plant (Kantola, Barath and Nazir, 2017). This has led to the failure of the
company to meet its customers’ demands and needs and handle a wide variety of the business
operations in a better way. As the needs and demands of the consumers change with time,
looking at the conditions, the cited business organisation has to make the effective and necessary

changes that will help the business entity to achieve its targeted goals and gain sustainability in
market. Apart from this, the new product or service will help in attracting the new potential
customers of the firm, leading to the rise in the revenue generation and have a sustainability in
market. Even the sales department of firm is unable to make the forecast about the sales of the
products and services that have been developed by the business entity, despite the proper
training. This has caused the company to not fully utilise the opportunities and the chances that
have been available to the company. This has caused a disruption in the business operations of
the company (Bolman and Deal, 2017). Also, it has caused the loss in the perspective and
potential clients of the user, which lead to the decrease in the revenue generation and profitability
of the company. The management team of the company will look after the fact that has helped in
the better quality assurance of the services and improve its standard in a better way. Other than
this, the high quality product or services will help in better handling of the different business
operations which will help in significant rise in the operational capacity of the organisation.
Other than this, it will also help in better execution of the wide variety of the business operations
that have been followed by the firm. But Jan has found that the members in the project
management team are having the various opinions regarding the operations and thus, it has led to
the rise in the conflicts and differences among the team members, which has not only reduced
the productivity and revenue generation of the firm but also, has increased the overall production
capacity of the organisation.
Other than this, the marketing manager of the organisation has quit the job in the firm and
other employees for production department of firm are also threatening Jan to join in the other
multinational firm, by accusing him for not supporting the functionality and the lack of
collaboration with his management team. Thus, in this case, Jan is facing the serious trouble
from the management side and thus is required to handle the various business operations
effectively to reassure the proper functionality and work environment in the organisation. He has
realised that the people are not with him and thus require to take in consideration, some strict and
effective measures that would have helped the firm to gain a better productivity and profitability.

for their simulation game. It will help the firm to opt the better handling of the vast range

entity there is need to have implication of various strategies and planning that will be effective.
Jan has been appointed as the new CEO or organisation on which he must make adequate
changes into operations (Goleman, 2017). There is need to have satisfactory allocation of funds
in each business operations as well as effective control over the costs. Additionally, to improve
the business health there is needed to have appropriate marketing techniques which will bring
the successive outcomes from the new launch of products. It will create a unique identity in the
market which will be attractive to consumers.
Similarly, to improve the internal environment of the business there is need to reduce the
barriers and bring the effective communications. Thus, it will be motivating among staff to
present their views and ideas to improve the financial health of organisation. Similarly, i will
also help in provoking the innovative ideas in the business.

business there is need to have effective leadership as well as appropriate management of the

required that the professionals need to be committed towards their roles as well as make the

improve the productivity as well as manages the costs incurred in each business activities.
