Answer to Question 1
Example of Successfully Leading a Team
While I was working with Alior Bank S A, my job role was to manage the manage
the different investment strategies along with sale of active mutual funds. While handling the
team, my main role was to acquire new customers for the company and offer active sales of
credit products. In the respective department, there was an employee who recently joined the
bank and he lacked the knowledge on asset management.
Situation
The situation is to manage a training for asset management for new employee and
with the help of my team leading skills, I was required to manage the situation.
Task
In managing a new employee, I planned properly regarding the training which is
required to be provided to him through analysing the strengths and weaknesses. I tried to
communicate the instructions and the area of authority to the candidate.
Action
In handling the situation, I was confident enough to manage the overall situation
appropriately by analysing the skills wherein the employee is performing well or not. As a
leader, the main purpose was to manage the probation period of the employee to make him
suitable for the position.
Result

After the completion of training, the result was positive as the candidate was
successful in the probation period and I felt satisfied as a leader in handling the team member
positively.
Answer to Question 2
Example of Challenging Situation
While I was working with Citibank Poland S.A. as a team leader, the main
responsibility was to manage the team of professionals in serving the customers. My main
duty was to manage the different conflicts of the team members appropriately and build long-
term relationships with the team mates and customers.
Situation
While I was working in Citibank Poland S.A., there was leak of the customer data
from the system of the bank which led to chaos among the customers.
Task
Due to the chaos, I tried to settle the matter within few hours by creating a team who
will be helpful in investigating the reasons and source of leakage of data. In the respective
situation, I tried to motivate my team and communicate with them in a positive manner which
helped in solving the situation appropriately. Due to the chaotic situation, I tried in actively
managing the team through adaptive changes as I felt it would be helpful in managing the
situation appropriately.
Action
Firstly, I analysed the overall situation and monitored the areas such as the workplace
mail accounts and usage of internet as it will be appropriate in identifying the place of leaks.
Furthermore, I set a team wherein implementation of encryption of the strict data procedures

along with authentication of policies and I tried to train the IT staffs and secured the endpoint
services.
Result
After training the IT staffs, i tried to solve the situation appropriately within 8 hours
and the situation was under control. After monitoring the content in motion, I tried to limit
the privileges of the users which was unique in nature in managing the overall situation
positively.
Answer to Question 3
Reasons for Selecting MBA as Career Choice
The main reason of selecting MBA as my career choice is that it will add to the
specific skills of business to the toolkit.
Situation
In the present scenario, I have diploma in Human Resource Management and I have
knowledge on different basic skills of leader and HR executives as well. By selecting MBA
as career choice, it will provide better opportunity for starting my own company from scratch.
Task
In selecting MBA as career choice, it will provide better chances and higher salary for
the working professionals. Furthermore, after completing MBA, it will open door to thrive
the career opportunities as this will help me in experiencing new place and culture.
Action
In pursuing MBA, I gained different insights on few managerial skills which play a
major role in managing the situation appropriately. For instance- While I was working as

Business Direct Associate, I was able to handle and carry out the different operations,
however I felt I lack knowledge in the business skills which play a vital role in the business
operations. I feel after the completion of MBA, I would be able to manage the different
operations successfully with proper training skills.
Result
After the successful completion of MBA, I would be gaining knowledge on different
skills and explore new career opportunities to become more confident in managing the
different activities.
