INTRODUCTION
The following report includes reflection of an individual. This will include the reflection
of an individual. This person has worked in team and now it is need of written reflection on the
team development and management skills. Reflection provides an opportunity for the team
members to analyse the expressing of feelings, thoughts and shared experience.
Reflection
The team given to me consisted of six members. These individuals were from different
culture and backgrounds. They all were saying different languages. The common language that
all individuals were knowing was English. Most of the members were comfortable in talking in
their native language. I had taken several meetings for informing my team members what are the
goals and objectives of doing business (Dohme, Lefebvre, and Bloom, 2020). In these meetings,
I discuss various strategies and plans that will help in accomplishing the projects. The tasks were
divided effectively and I took concrete discussions on issues that people are facing while
working with each other. I was confident about the dedication of team in managing and planning
all the activities related to the tasks. I put my efforts to become more involved with all the team
members. I started to share opinions regarding families and memories that were unforgettable.
This worked as ice breaking session and all team members are involved in each other. The
friendliness and openness among team members is needed for managing the professional
activities too. I used to talk more about issues like trust, communication, leadership, conflict, etc.
While managing the subsequent meeting, I was able to analyse the needs of programming that
were needed for me to accomplish organisational goals. My team members were more into
interacting in native language. They were not involving English language as their mode for
speech. This has provided to arise uncomfortable scenario and development of issues and
challenges. Every individual present in the team was having different pint of view regarding
essential question associated with the case studies and researches. There was need of stating
organisational problems and issues. There were no team members who are going to accept it.
This created dissatisfaction among the individuals. The professor was involved in creating team
development activities and by motivating myself from that it is decided by me to involve the
team building activities and tasks within team management for enhancing the relationship among
customers (Feldman, 2018). If there is absence of strong bond and connection between team

members, there are various fights and conflicts that take place among the team members. Hence,
there is need for me to bridge the gaps between my team members and make them work
effectively. This will help in achieving the organisational goals in less time. My team was very
effective and it was able to meet the goals and objectives of the company. I felt very bad and
uncomfortable in this scenario. My team was strong but the only issue with this is absence of
bonds and connection among the team mates. I was able to manage the work effectively after
increasing the commitment, accountability and result oriented approaches. It was not
comfortable for me to handle the situations related to conflicts and fights. It was important or me
to develop cases and role plays which help in analysing the requirements of tasks and business
activities. The scenario related to fights and conflicts were very challenging and this created
problem in developing skills and abilities. As per the skills of mine, it was seen that I have good
team management skills (Flaming, and Mosca, 2019). An effective idea for solving this is
known as not interfering more within work of different individuals. This is the best way for
avoiding conflicts and fights. This is helpful for maintaining the team work and doing great
work. When I am involved in team building, there are chances of transforming the teams into
high performance of teams. Team members who are engaging in team building tasks are able to
provide efforts. Teams are not involved in positioning and building activities for the high
ranking. Becoming leader of a team is very challenging. I am a self driven and self directed
leader. Our team is having goal of attaining organisational goal and increasing the productivity
of the team. I am a good leader and manage different activities and tasks given to me in an
effective manner. It is my responsibility to manage various issues and challenges involved in the
interaction of team members. This is very important for me to analyse all the activities and roles
of business before making any recommendations and conclusions. Conflicts are involved in
adding tensions, troubles and increases the gap between team members. Basically there were two
types of conflicts that I managed. These were cognitive and constructive conflicts. My team was
self directed and when we were not able to manage and analyse conflicts, a leader who was
having positive influencing approach was needed for enrouting the destructive conflicts. The self
managing teams are not able to manage conflicts and fights (Schmidt, and et.al, 2019). This
decreases level of trust and loyalty. Trust is the most important factor while managing
performance. I have managed to do great work and provide effective services to people. There
are five factors of dysfunctional team which were discussed including fear of conflict, fear of

trust, inattention of results, avoidance of accountability, fear of fights which is helpful for
building a good team. This was best part of me that helped me to develop effective team
