INTRODUCTION
This report highlights my management skills with the perspective of Belbin role. Through
this, my positive and negative aspects been reviewed which supported me in developing
appropriate action plan.
BELBIN TEAM ROLE DISCUSSION
Shaper: I possess a skill of shaper as I can handle pressure significantly. I have worked
in challenging environment whereby I need to accomplish my task in short deadline.
Implementor: I am not that much proficient in this role. I often seek for suggestion while
implementing any ideas or work. It signifies that I need to improve my analytical skills
for the purpose of developing “implementor” role in me.
Completer Finisher: I focus on completing the work without error. However, many a
time I commit error which affect my result, hence I need to improve my skill into this
(Oke, Olatunji and Kuma-Agbenyo, 2016).
Co-ordinator: I am able to assign the work efficiently and able to delegate the same
among team mates. Through this, I am able to accomplish whole set of work on time.
Team worker: It is evident that I listen to suggestions from my team mates and work
accordingly. Also, I cooperate with them with a motive to complete the work on time. Resource investigator: In this team role, I have extrovert enthusiastic, communication,
explore opportunities (NorvilaitÄ, 2015). However, in this certain weakness also exist
such as over optimistic, losses interest which initiated with enthusiasm. Plant: According to this role, creativity, imagination and difficult issues must be solve
that are main strength. However, there are certain weaknesses such as ignore incident and
pre-occupied communication not exist (Harding, 2017). Therefore, it is negative aspect
for me. I have to look for it to develop my understanding. Monitor evaluator: In this team role, it can be stated that I am sober, strategic, judgement
accuracy, etc. consider. Beside this, lake of active inspire others.
Specialist: In this kind of team role, I have qualities such as specialist minded dedicated,
etc. strength possess and weaknesses are contributed only with narrow front. It impacts
positive on my performances.

Considering this, I need to improve my skills in certain area in order to enhance my
leadership quality. For this, improvement is required in analytical thinking, critical observation
of work for identifying errors, development of influencing personality and visionary (Omar and
et.al., 2016).

With the help of above action plan, I am able to enhance my required skills which will
supports me in boosting my leadership qualities. Through this, I can able to tackle every situation
in appropriate manner (Lehmann-Willenbrock, Beck and Kauffeld, 2016).
CONCLUSION
Through this, it has been found that I have several strengths as team member and hence I
am able to support my team in different scenario. However, I need to improve my skills within
the context of analytical thinking, visionary approach and development of influencing
personality.
