The group presentation is one in order to know increase and gain knowledge by
getting and taking the ideas from each other views. This project will include the group
dynamics and different theoretical techniques in order to improve team work. Further it will
also outline the different motivational theories related to content and process theories and at
last it will focus on the evaluation matrix CVF.
Theoretical techniques to improve the team-work
Group dynamics is basically the system of the behaviours and the mental process of
happening and working with the social groups or in between the groups. This is most useful
in order to make the good decision-making and understanding the needs and wants of the
society (Nair, 2020). By making this presentation the group has able to make the very
valuable decision in order to make the presentation knowledgeable. In order to make the
presentation more valuable on the Princess Diana we have used the different theoretical
techniques in order to improve the teamwork of our group. These theories include the Belbin
and Tuckman theories to make and improve the teamwork of our team.
Belbin’s Team Roles Model: This model includes the nine types of team roles that are
resource investigator, Team-worker, Co-ordinator, Plant, monitor evaluator and specialist,
shaper, implementer and completer finisher (Gander and et.al., 2018). The roes are as follows
which helps me to make my presentation more specific and knowledgeable:
Resource Investigator: This role helps to investigate the resources and new ideas and
apply those ideas to have the good team-work. It makes the person to explore the external
opportunities and make the team-work more successful. This role makes me to explore more
new nod effective ideas for my group discussion on the Princess Diana.
Team-worker: In this role the people used to support the other people in making the
good decision by working effectively (Donald and Carter, 2020). By working in the team and
making the presentation tries rule has helped me more by having he support from my team
members.
Co-ordinator: This is the main role in order to work in the team. As firstly my team
was not co-ordinating with each other properly but this model helped is to make the
presentations by having the god co-ordination with my team.
Plant: This is the creative innovator which means person comes up the new ideas and
supportive approaches. My team members were giving the new and innovative ideas in order
to make the presentation attractful to the tutor.
Monitor evaluator: By having the new ideas we used to evaluate those ideas in order
to make the presentation and make the presentation by having the good objectives and
wedging with the pros and cons.
Specialist: In our group there were some people whose history about the Princess
Diana was as good as this help our discussion to more evaluative and successful.

Shaper: As I used to challenge y team in order to improve the performance of the
team. This makes us to do all the hard task to be done easily.
Implementers: In my group work in I was the implememter which helps me to make
the tings done in the group. By implementing the work it maintains the discipline and work to
be done systematically in the team.
Completer Finisher: These are the person who used to check that work is done and
completed by following the rules and regulations. As by having the nine roles this makes our
team to complete the presentation which was also like by our tutor.
Tuckman Team Development Theory: It includes the following stages which are
forming, storming and performing and adjourning. This theory focuses on the ways in which
the team used to tackle the situations in the task from starting the task to the completion of
the task (Ford and et.al., 2020). As our team was having difficult in order to tart the work, so
this theory help me a lot this is described below:
Forming: In this stage we have discussed about each and every one skills and
knowledge ad roles which they were use to perform in making the presentation on the Princes
Diana. I have also tell about the rules and responsibilities of every team member which helps
them to know about their work.
Storming: In doing the team-work I have realised that everyone has its own
personality of doing and tackle the situation. So this stage helps me to reduces the happening
of the conflicts by knowing the personality of the team-members.
Norming: In this stage I have realized the work and strengths of the team members as
how they were so focused in order to make the presentation good and valuable. Sometimes
storming may overlaps with the norming as in order to have the new task which may create
the conflicts among the team-members.
Performing: Focusing on the above four stages this stage helps the person and team to
perform well in their projects and tasks (Schyns, Kiefer and Foti, 2020). By reaching this
stage the team-members had become confident, motivated and familiar in order to make the
presentation attractive.
Adjourning: This is called the last and completing stage in order to make the presentation and
task successful. In this stage we have completed the presentation and that presentation was
liked by our tutor as our team has done lots of work in order to co-ordinate and make the
presentation valuable.
Theories of motivation: Content and Process Theory

Maslow Hierarchy of Needs: It is the motivational theory which used to provide an
idea in order to motivate the people. This is the pyramid which shows the most fundamental
team. This makes us to do all the hard task to be done easily.

needs at the bottom and the self-actualization needs at the top (The 5 Levels of Maslow's
Hierarchy of Needs, 2022). There are five stages of the theory which are as follows:
Physiological needs: This need is the base of the hierarchy which are used for the
human survival. According to this the Maslow suggest that the human are sued to satisfy their
own need in order to have intrinsic motivation. In order to make our presentation our team
members have also satisfy their need in order to start the presentation.
Safety needs: In order to motivate the person there must be taken the consideration of
providing them safety which used to motivate them in their work. There are some safety
needs such as financial safety, health and wellness safety and safety in order to get against the
accidents and injury (Crandall and et.al., 2020). In order to make the personation we have
focused on the health safety as due to COVID-19 we all were not able to go to the museum
and done the work through co-ordinating.
Social needs: The social needs of the this motivation theory includes the things sch as
love, acceptance and belongingness from each other. There are some things which used to
satisfy the needs of the person are having the good friendships, having family, social groups,
etc. In our group work we all maintain the friendship by co-ordinating properly with each
other and making the presentation successful.
Esteem Needs: It is the fourth level in the motivational theory which used by the
person to be appreciated and have the self-respect in his work. When the bottom three level is
satisfied than this need paly the important role (Hale and et.al., 2019). While making the
presentation we all have appreaciated each other work and respected in order to not to create
any conflict in the making the presentations on the Princess Diana.
Self-actualization needs: It includes the full use of the talents, potential and
capabilities of the person in order to complete the task. This makes the person to do the best
of their capabilities and work effectively in the team. In our group everyone has shown their
best of their capability in order to make the presentation.
Process Theory
Goal Theory: This theory is used In the educational psychology in order to
discussion on the research by motivating the people. It helps the students to influence the
level of the internal motivation in them (Harris, Riley and Hand, 2018). In order to motivate
my team-members I have used this theory and motivated by team-workers to make the
attractive presentation. It includes the three factors and axes which are as follows:
Task/ego involvement: This factor described that the students are involved in those
task only where they have the task for showing their own qualities. It is associated with
having the high internal motivation in the students. This makes me to helps to make the team-
members to perform that task showing their own qualities in the making the presentation.
Approach and Avoidance goals: Every goal is not related with and desirable
outcome, as some are avoided in order to have the undesirable outcomes. In the approach

goals it provides the students in order to have the desirable outcomes and this makes our
performance more attractive.
Performance Goals: This goal is related and focused in order to gain the favourable
outcomes and avoid the undesirable outcomes. It focuses on the performance of the
individual growth. This motivation theory of gala helps us in making the presentation by
motivating and co-ordinating wt. each other in the group activity.
Evaluating Matrix CVF
The Competing Values Framework is the framework which is created by the Robert
Quinn and John Rohrbaugh in order to have the effective work. This tools is used to know
and understand about the behaviours of the organization and makes them know about the how
they contribute in the success (Abedelrahim, 2018). This framework used to know about the
archetype of the person while doing any task, project and making the presentation. It includes
the following factors which are as follows:
Clan (Collaborative): In this culture there is high flexibility and high degree of the
internal motivation. In this there is very friendly working environment which makes the work
easier for the students and employees o do. As we are making the presentation tis culture
helped us a lot in order to have the good environment and have same thinking. As Princess
Diana was very collaborative as she used to Run NGO’s this makes us to know about the
team-work and social work while making the presentation.
Hierarchical Culture: In this type of culture there is high degree of controlling the
behaviours of the persons and they are internally focused. These structured is very formal and
helps the person to do work in the structured environment. As presentation on the Princess
Diana makes us know that the person to be the leader by having the long-term vision for
doing the work.
Market culture: In this type of culture it makes the person to complete the work on the
time. As in order to complete the presentation everyone was goal-oriented and makes
themselves to do work effectively. As Princess Diana was the competitive person and was
focused towards the goal. This makes me and my team members to know that while doing
any work we must have to make the goal and work towards that goal.
Adhocracy culture: In this culture there is high degree of flexibility of doing work and
they are externally focused. There is dynamic, innovative and creative environment, which
makes the person to be more focused in their work (Kan and Ismail, 2021). While making the
presentation this makes us to be very dynamic, innovative and creative. By making the
presentation it increases my knowledge in the history.
From the above project it is concluded that The meaning of the group dynamics and
how it helps in making the presentation. By using the two theoretical techniques of Belbin
