Team is defined as a group of people having different skills and tasks but working
together towards achievement of common goal and objective. Teamwork is mainly a
commitment that is shared among the working process of team to its desired goals. In teams, the

(Carder, 2019). Teamwork plays vital role in an organisation as it enables to accomplish tasks
effectively and timely. Along with this, it also provide an opportunity to employees to make
good relationship with others and improve their skills. The report will cover advantages of team
work with examples of real companies such as Amazon. In addition to this, there is discussion
about who gets advantage from teamwork and how they benefit.

It is analysed that creativity prosper when people are working together as a team. In
addition to this, combining the ideas of team members develop more effective and appropriate
solution in an organisation. Teamwork maximize knowledge of an individual and also assist
team members to learn new skills that will help in gaining opportunities in future career
(Shichtman, 2019). Moreover, working in a team enables to share their thoughts and ideas to
other team members which excite then & foster both team as well as individual knowledge.

It is advantageous because it helps an organisation to improve its performance level and
maintaining positive working culture at the workplace (Friedrich, Ulber and Friedrich, 2019). In
addition to this, development of something creative help company to attract large number of
people and attain competitive advantage at marketplace.

In the early time of Amazon, the CEO Jeff Bezos developed a rule and state that every
team should be little enough that it can be fed with two Pizzas. The motive was not to cut down
the catering bill cost but aim is efficiency & scalability. One of the thing that is said by Amazon
is small teams giving less time in managing schedules and give more time that what requires to
be done. It states that by using this idea of “Two pizzas” lot of small team is able to use common
resources and working together for achieving its larger goals. It also help company to enhance its
productivity level and develop good relations in employees due to which overall productivity of
Amazon is improved in an effective manner.
It is important for Amazon to must have effective teams who can bring some new and
creative ideas that fosters productivity and help in attaining competitive edge at marketplace

It can be sometimes creating issues and challenging for a company to working towards a
common objective as per the specification and up to the mark. Team assist an entity to share their
workload and make activities easy for the company (Raappana and Horila, 2019). By the
assistance of project management software, the higher authorities assigned work to every team
member in a proper manner. This help company to decline their workload and meeting with their
targets timely. In addition to this, it is analysed that team work boost the morale of staff
members. If any of the teammate feel tired , the another team member motivate and provide
energy boost due to which they are working with full potential and zeal towards attainment of
organisational objective.

Sharing of the workload and enhancement of employee morale is advantageous because it
help company to divide the whole task easily and decline the level of burden of managers and
higher authorities of company (Pitafi, 2020). In addition to this, it is beneficial at workplace for
meeting with targets and to attain desired goals on a timely and properly manner.
Example: In Amazon, there is high pressure of providing delivery to customers on time period.
In order to solve such issue, the production team and service team working integrated and plan
activities as a team that assist in declining the level of such issue and also help in giving delivery

on time. Sharing the workload assist Amazon to gain the trust of is customers and satisfy the
with its services in an appropriate manner.

enhance their sales as well as profitability level (Nawaz, 2020). Along with this, it also assist in
declining level of workload and maintain healthy environment at workplace due to which interest
of employees is developed towards working and has positive influence on market performance
and position of company in an effective manner.

and development of an organisation. It is essential for companies to ensure that team members
are assigned authority as per their interest and skills as well. There are various advantage that a
company can gain by developing teams that is increase in productivity, development of creative
