Describe how you obtained those performances standards and how well you perform
against them.
Performance standards are obtained by way of inherited and developed skills, knowledge and
tactics. I have been able to achieve performance standards through committed hard work and
continuous efforts for learning and performing the same. Though my superiors have been very
coordinating and guiding allowing me time to lean. Yet I have over achieved their expectations
when I was allowed to perform. I have set high performance standards for myself, as I aim to
achieve very high professional levels in life. I aim to become future leader in the organisation
that I work for. I aim to attain the same through continuous efforts and continuously achieving
my performance targets and goals.
3b Obtain feedback on your improvement plan. Note who you selected to
receive feedback from and what you learned from it? What changes will you
make to your plan?
I have developed an improvement plan in consultation with my University Professor. This
improvement plan will allow me achieve my targets and even exceed them. My Professor had
been very kind to chart a course of action for me such that I am able to attend my personal goals.
I will maintain a self-reflection journal for maintaining record of my achievements and
performances. This self-reflection journal will include my self-assessment along with feedback
from my friends and colleagues through three methods Johari Window, ESCI Questionnaire and
Big Five Traits. I will periodically update the journal and include review every 6 months. From
the feedback I have gained in the last 6 months, I feel that I need to increase my knowledge
pertaining to organisation skills. Though I am making efforts in various ways and methods yet I
have not been able to make progress in my organizing of tasks. In order to overcome this
challenge I plan to undertake guidance from case studies and self-help books from the library. I
will include time within my schedule which I will spend at the library in order that I am able to
inoculate skills pertaining to organizing.
