INTRODUCTION
Leadership is the essence of each and every company and it is the most important
function of management in order to increase the efficiency as well as to achieve the obejctives
and goals of company (Bolman and Deal, 2017). In this present assessment, Max Lionel Reality
(MLR) si beig chosen for assessment. It is real estate company. There are four assessment in this
report that will cover background of company as well as also make understand the actual link
between the objectives, standards, relevant legislation and the responsibilities of managers and
agents for safe workplace. Further, budget, action plan, communication plan, risk register,
professional development plan wil also prepared in this report.

Description of Incident
This is the incident that makes everyone in scared. Last Wednesday,
customers who was running late decided to leave through the emergency exit and stairwell,
falling and breaking her wrist. The exit door was blocked by boxes of paper. She was screaming
for help, one of the agent listen her voice and run. He manages to open the door and help her.
By the efforts of client, the women was safe with some measure injuries. He imminently takes
her to Royal Women's hospital by ambulance.
Women is threatening to sue for injuries, loss income and mental trauma. Another agent
noticed a strange odour and an oily substance on the stairwell and he reported the incident

verbally to Commercial Reality Manager. This incident has only juts become a known to the
manager of human resource who has been contacted by both the clients lawyer and the office of
human rights ombudsman. It has been noticed from this incident that managers are not aware of
WHS management system. Record keeping has been incomplete, there is no meeting conducted
on WHS.
Finally, Max Lionel Reality has taken action and make there original target to reduce
the number of WHS accident by 25%.
RISK ANALYSIS
There are various risk involved when company is going to implement nay change, or
strategies. Max Lionel Reality Company is also going to implement some change in order to
meet the requirements of WHS code of conduct (Aarons and et.al., A2015). But there are some
risk involved while implementing the change which are as follows-
 Due to increase competition there are chances of failure to recruit qualified real
estate agents.
 Due to recent drop-off in the prices real state there are chances of failure to pull in
revenue gains.
 Inadequate cover of insurance.
 Non-compliance on anti-discrimination.
 Low level of staff engagement.

Max Lionel Reality WHS policy recognises its roles as well as responsibilities in order to
render health and safety environment of working for employees, clients, contractors as well as
visitors. Company is committed to the continuing well-being of its employees and make sure that
they are safe from any injury or risk related to health (Northouse and et.al., 2018). The main
purpose of implementing these strategies and policies is to make sure that resources are utilized
as well as it is carried out fairly, transparently and consistently as per the requirements of
company.
Here are some actions taken by Max Lionel Reality in order to make sure that
organisation have a safe and healthy working environment. The managers of company will
undertake the assessment of risk as well as apply the entire process in a systematic manner and
manages the risk in appropriate way. Further they also provide written instruction for safe
environment of working. They will paste poster and banners on the walls at the entire workplace.
In addition to this, they will also maintain a safe system of work within organisation so that
employees out there the best efforts on there work without any scarceness. The most important
action that company will organize training and development programs to employees.
The entire management of this policy is to be manage by the management of company as
they are strictly responsible for successful implementation of this policy. They are responsible
for effective implementation as well as regular check of Workplace Health & Safety (WHS).
Management is also responsible for consulting employees regarding the issues arising in health
and safety or any other changes they required in the policy (Ashkenas and et.al., 2015).
Management should ensure that employees should be given a safety as well as healthy working
environment. Additionally, it is also responsible to provide proper training to employees so that
safety and healthy working environment will be maintained.

REFLECTION
During this assessment, I have learned so many things that re very important for my
entire life. I have lean leadership of a real estate leadership of organisation as it is very critical

organisation as compare to other. I am very good at my leadership skills as I am working as
manager in that company. In the above assessment, I have learned how to achieve goals and
objectives of company according to the mission, vision and goals of company. I have also learn
how the objectives, standard, and legislation of WHS are directly link with my and other
responsibilities of manager working in the organisation. In my organisation, I very concern about
the ethical conduct and it is the only reason I want to implement a chnages and want to start
working according to the code of conduct of WHS (West and et.al., 2014). I also understand
various types of leadership style and I am best in the style of democratic leadership. I love to
take reviews and ideas of all the members of organisation. Further, I also understand how to
make an incident report and how to overcome the issues coming within organisation. In addition
to this, I have learned how to analysis the risk and make the risk register. Moreover, I also make
budget and action plan which I get to learn how to use the resources in efficient manner. I also
make a charter of roles and responsibilities of managers within organisation in order to
implement WHS policy at the workplace. Afterwards, I again prepare a budget of training which
is very essential for company. In the above professional development plan, I have identified
some weak-areas in my leadership style which are I am not able to give training to member when
required. I also not able to interact more people as I hesitate to talk and rest of two skills that I
want to develop is professionalism and leadership skill. I am good at leadership skill but still kit
needs some improvement as sometime it happens that I am not able to engage will all
stakeholder.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that importance of leadership within organisation
as well as link between the objectives, standards, relevant legislation and the responsibilities of
managers and agents for safe workplace. This assessment also make understood the Workplace
health and safety within organisation. Various tyep of leadership style was also included in this
report. Incident report, budget, action plan, risk analysis was also prepared in this report.
