revenue generation. This makes organisation to manage workforce with and workplace in an

ensure that they undertake effective leadership roles as well as approaches through which
equality get managed in an effective manner. With the help of this company can encourage
employees towards higher objectives and can further ensure long-term sustainability. Present
report is being conducted on leadership role in order to maintain equality in workplace. In this
report literature review is being conducted in addition to this report also include research

Implication of Participative management approach is recommended for B&Q Ltd as it
ensures and facilitates proper management of all employees in decision making and
strategy formulation therefore lead to a sense of equality and fairness at workplace to
effectively manage equality issues.
Strategy of providing regular training is also suggested for B&Q Ltd as it ensures and
lead to enhanced skills and fairness level among employees for better implication and
adoption of a discriminated free and fair workplace through enhancing respect and
leading out bonding among employees to ensure effective management of equality at
workplace.
Adoption of inclusive and fair leadership approach is also suggested as leads to fair
practises at workplace in term of appropriate remuneration and fair promotion strategy to
lead better management of equality and diversity at workplace which lead to effective
leadership approaches for B&Q Ltd to effectively manage equality issues at its workplace
Chapter 7: Reflection on the effectiveness of research methods and alternative
research methodologies
The current research project is based on topic of role of leadership in handling the issues
related to equality at workplace is vital in enhancing my understanding and learning process
along with leading enhance work experience and development of skills. Further, an analysis can
be drawn that the use of current research methodology is effective in meting out set objectives in
an efficient manner as use of both primary as well as secondary form of resources were made by
me that are efficient in providing a significant amount of data for effective study. Further,
accomplishment of quantitative set of research method has also supported easy collection of data
in numeric terms that is easy to collect and present thus, helpful in achieving set objectives in a
viable and efficient manner.

The only pitfall which was faced by me is related with the lack of theoretical and in-depth
data as current investigation is based on objective form. Thus, in future, use of qualitative set of
research method could also be made by me as alternative research method to support and lead
out collection of theoretical information with the help of interview as research tool.
