INTRODUTION
Change is an activity in which better way of organising operations gets modified with
some other operation. It is crucial and important for the administrator to understand and measure
changes in efficacious manner. In order to acknowledge and monitor policies by which
operations are organised with understanding outcomes of change (Abdul Razzak and Albaker,
2015). If modification in due to some extrinsic factors the effective planning is need to deal with
it. This assignment is supported to House of Fraser which is one of the leading brand in
departments stores. This organisation operating in UK and Ireland with estimated 54 stores. In
this study, there will discuss about comparing effect of organisational plan of action and
operation because of change, impact of intrinsic and extrinsic drivers on organisational
behaviour, barriers to change and its impact on leadership and decision making and at last range
of leadership approaches.

By making change in external market, it is crucial that administration of the company
have to modify their working way. If there is modification occurred in management operations
the in will be easy for managers to understand and measure operations in efficient and adequate
way. House of Fraser is thinking to convert seven stores in mini luxury chains of departmental
store. So there is need of modification as per the requirement of customers and to keep
favourable affect in industry. This change influence, process, people, structure and process of the
company. For making comparison with House of Fraser, study is completed about Debenhams
which is an UK Based company and running in retail industry with the help of its different
franchisees in several nations (Anderson, 2019). They offer number of products as cosmetics,
luggage, garden commodities, man and women fashion and others. If this firm also take decision
to renovate in better and efficacious manner.

and outside factors which influenced the company and it is crucial to make clear modifications
over it. With change only workforce but also employer are facing issues, administrators and
leaders have to change directing and monitoring approaches (Cameron and Green, 2019). So it
clear that modification influenced leadership, team and behaviour of the employees as well. .

is need of encouragement to employees so that they can work in more efficacious manner due to
change in working activities. Team have to work in business environment so it is not easier for
managers to acknowledge and measure modifications effectively. This change affect the team
and it is accountable for offering better result in term of development so they are answerable for
rural and growing nations as well. They have to modify their working way in p[articular style.
Employee's behaviour will also altered because they have to aware with working way of rural
people and they have to monitor it and make change in their working manner.

Change can be implemented any time within the business organisation but there is
requirement of doing appropriate planning in order to getting operation and negative impact don
not act effectively. There is accurate information towards employees by which they can bring
huge changes within company and able to performed their act accordingly (Nohria, 2017). Some
of the ways that gives positive impact on performance of House of Fraser, those are mentioned
below:
Engagement of workforce: Within this, there is some many employees are needed as a
participants if manager of House of Fraser want to bring few modifications so that with the help
of group members they can implements on several ideas like flexible working environment and
regular feedback properly and gain successful objectives.

PDCA model which includes 4 steps to identifying change appropriately. This model is the
process in which numerous policies are framed in order to target customers to achieve goals. All
these sorts of four steps in this model can be performed by several activities in order to deal with
each and every situation. So that there are so many changes which is developed by manager of
respective organisation via observing external market. Now a day’s respective firm is planning to
change its current stores within mini luxury chains of departmental stores to increase operational
growth. There are few steps of this model to overcome negative impact of change from the
House of Fraser, discussed below:
Plan: According to this initial stage of PDCA model, it can be said that it is the process
of researching and collecting accurate information in regards with particular problem or issues
(Oham and Macdonald, 2016). In reference with House of Fraser there are few issues which all
are associated with less growth, losses within the modern environment as company needs to
bring changes. In order to remove unnecessary factor from the firm they are needed to make plan
for betterment of future.
Do: After making appropriate plan to implements on few changes than respective firm is
able to do by which they can easily introduce their changes within firm to identifying several
chains of departmental stores in an effective manner (Oleson, and Cothron, 2016).

should design effective plan and strategies that are crucial to implement change in effective
manner. By offering training and development to employees about the changes, the firm can
appropriately engagement employees and they ready to adopt change with having any kind of

check that are effective and if they are better than adopt them in business activities and
operations. As per above defined information, this has been summarised that PDCA model is an
effective approach and model that can be adopt by the firm to implement change and minimise
the unfavourable impact. This concept is effective because it stimulates continuous development
of individual and activities. It prevents the work process from recurring mistakes. The drawbacks
of this concept are that people become confused about the status of activities and processes.
