5LEADING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Monitoring and documentation: We have used GanttPRO for the monitoring and
documentation purpose, which is one of the best tools for project management. This
tool helped us to build timelines and project plans, control the expenses and tracking
the workflow with the appropriate documentation. This tool kept all the resources
balanced and engaged and the ready-made templates made our project very east to
start.
Code O: Challenge during the project execution
During the implementation of the project, initially the budget planning of the project
was not proper. Due to inappropriate budget plan, we have spent much funds in the starting if
the project. We were very concern about the budget planning of the project. Using the Project
Budget tool, it was possible to estimate the overall cost of the project. The tool has many
templates, which consists of the details about the estimated cost, which are to be incurred
before completion of the project.
Another challenge we have faced, is difficulties in project execution. Initially, it was
being very difficult to execute the project for my team members and me. Then we thought
about to get help from any expert, who will guide us to understand the life cycle of the
project and the proper way to execute and implement the project without any difficulties.
Thus, we have eliminated the issues using the techniques.

Code P: Role of Internal and External Stakeholder
There were several internal and external stakeholders who have contributed for the
successful execution of the project. The Internal stakeholders who have contributed in this
project are project sponsor, employees and project team members. The project sponsor
provided us fund to executive the project. The employees have dealt with the customers to
insist them in trying the Vegan wrap. The project team includes, Project manager whose role
is to build a project plan for the evaluation and monitoring the process. As mentioned earlier,
resource are the essential part of the project hence, arranging the resources, monitoring the
supplies and distribution are the essential activities. The other members of the project team
are, Project coordinator, assistant manager and project supervisor who has helped in
achieving all the objectives, by keeping the track of the progress and in creating the report of
the status.
While the external stakeholders are the customers and the suppliers who have
indirectly helped for the success of the project. To maintain the communication between the
stakeholders few methods have been applied such as, proper visualizations of the objectives
using the charts and presentation. Awareness is maintained by identifying the members who
have not understood the objectives. Speaking with every individual member can help in
clarifying.

We have used email as the basic communication channel within the organization to
communicate with the internal stakeholders. Face-to face meeting was conducted which
helped to develop the trust between the stakeholders and the manager of the Restaurant, it
provides better transparency therefore face-to-face meeting is very effective for
communicating with the customers and suppliers. Moreover, to communicate with the
internal stakeholders, deliberate meeting was held, which helped in getting update about the
progress of the project.
Code Q: Limitations and Challenges
The challenges that have aroused during the management was the problem with the
team members because of the poor management in the team. Due to the poor management
skills the client were not happy at the initial stages. The activities of the restaurant were
controlled in a bit wrong way due to the lack of knowledge.
As a project manager another limitation that I have faced during the implementation
was ambiguous contingency plans due to the miscommunication. Although as a
communication channel email was used, it did not work efficiently for communication which
led to ambiguous contingency plan.

13LEADING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Code X: Technology used
If the multicultural workplaces is maintained within the organization then the
diversity cab be built in the organization. The member can gain the understanding and
knowledge of different cultures which makes the members respect the other cultures. It also
helps in building the creativity to utilize. The global project requires better strategies and
multicultural values hence, the responsibilities of the manger also increases hence I have
focused on the communication so that the distribution of the information among all the
members is done properly.
The communication channel with the stakeholders was used to analyse which part of
the projects needs improvement. After the planning every member was informed about the
strategies. The e-technology that have been used for this project are, online ordering system,
electronic register system which is widely used in the market, Wi-Fi service, for online order
there was requirement of reservation software. All these which we have used in the project
helps in offering faster and easy service.
Since the online ordering system is very common in the market, I have decided to use
this as the primary requirement of the technological services. Free Wi-Fi service can attract
any customer hence, this technology have also been used. The reservation software that is
used provides features like online booking of the seats for which customer database is
maintained. The technologies that have been used can help in creating a good value in the
competitive market.
