2.2.3 Critical to Quality parameters (CTQ)
The critical to quality parameter is indicated as the internal aspects associated with the
quality, which are quite associated with the needs, as well as the products that are required by
the customers. This factor is quite different from the concept of critical to customer
requirement as CTC focuses on the customer requirements, the CTQ is associated with the
enhancement of the service quality that are to be delivered to the associated customers (Sohi
et al., 2016). The methodology of the data driven factors as well as the format of the
structured data will efficiently help the customers in regards to the recognition of the needs of
the customers as well as also keeps a critical observation of the fact that the customers are

in the management of this type of global sports event which in this context is the cricket
world cup. The primary issue that is depicted within the management of this project is the
security as well as integrity of the overall customers that are coming to view the matches
(Conforto et al., 2016). The second significant issue that is primarily identified within the
lean management of this project is depicted as the fact of the quality of the assessment within
the parameters of the security agencies as well as the significant emergency arrangements
that are provided by the different authorities. The third issue that may be focused on is said to
be the fact of the assurance in regards to the stated parameters (Dave et al., 2016). The
optimization of the methodologies that will be needed to be adhered by the managerial

associated with the carrying out of the project.
2.3 Lean project management for ICC Cricket World Cup
The management of the project is to be effectively carried out by the implementation
of the lean project management. It uses five principles and with the help of those principles,
the following section is the implementation of the lean management in regards to this event.
The lean management includes many types of concepts, ideas and design. All these help to be
succeed of the project with improved efficiency and effectiveness. The waste generate by the
workload during the process is identified and eliminated with the enhancement of the lean
project management (Tenera, & Luís Carneiro, 2014). The main operating procedure of the
lean project management is to provide the only the materials that are needed and those should
be provided only when they are needed. Those are provided in minimal amount in the sense
of materials, labors, space and equipment.
Understand and specify the value: The working procedure of the first rule is to specify and
understand the value of project as well as the services of the ICC Cricket World Cup

tournament (Elias, 2016). The process should include the information and ability to
understand the service value of the project in the eyes of consumers or viewers of the
tournament. There are many services available and the willingness of the customers towards
those services need to be evaluated. The interests of the consumers to the service should be
determined with the help of the top-down approach.
Organize the product stream value: with the help of various display methods, this whole
operation can be described. The whole operation includes the delivery of the product to the
customers which can be described with design flow (Brioso, 2015). There are various
methods such as KanBan, spaghetti diagrams or flow charts. The completely displayed
method is then analyzed to reduce the wastage.
Organized value stream should be flowed: The data and products streaming rate are
optimized and conserved by mapping the value stream with equality (Charron et al., 2014).
The synchronization should be there in the waste development to optimize the leadership of
the project flow. The above guidelines are important to develop the mapping.
Flow pulled by the Customer: This strategy has not been very effective in the past. The
effectiveness and the efficiency of the project can be ensured only if the result and the
manufacturing process are not changed (Martínez-Jurado & Moyano-Fuentes, 2014).
Otherwise, this process is quite hard to implement in the ICC cricket World Cup. The
necessities of the customer are adhered very effectively in smooth manner with the pull and
the sweeping strategy.
With respect to all the policies and regulations it can be said that the waste
management of ICC World Cup is structured very well. The structure will he help the
organizing committee to reduce cost and the man power in many areas. After every match, all
the people associated with the cleaning service have to leave the waste at the waste disposal.

The disposed wastes should be then moved to the city end such that it will not affect any
living animals. The hygiene of all the people living nearby and all the people that would
come from other places to the major cities, they should be affected by it.
2.4 Elaborating after identifying processes from Lean Six Sigma DMAIC and Agile
methodology

methodology also requires an extreme level of association in regards to the functional teams
for dealing with the activities or the processes which are to be conducted parallelly. As this
methodology comprises of the fact that it can handle both multitasking as well as pair
programming, the response of this methodology is very quick in regards to change the
preferences and effective development.

process (Sunder, 2016). This significantly indicates the six processes that are likely to be as
