Introduction
Lean management is referred to the concept wherein the culture of the organisation is
based upon the values, philosophies as well as methods of management that tend to strive the
contribution of the sustainable development of the society with the help of manufacturing along
with the provision of the high quality products which are innovative as well. Lean management
tends result in an increment in the production efficiency of the quality of the product
(Bertagnolli, 2018).
Task 1
Concepts of Lean Management regime
There are various concepts of the Lean management regime and out of those, three of the
concepts have been discussed below.
Just In Time- The just in Time concept aims at underpinning the facts which focus upon
the concept regarding the requirement of the product as well as the time of the resource
when it is required along with the volume of the amount. The goal of the Just in Time
Approach is to achieve the continuous flow in order to complete the tasks in the shortest
duration possible. It can be applied at Toyota in order to facilitate easy and smooth
vehicle production. When an order is received at Toyota, the instructions are provided in
order to facilitate assembling. It possesses minimal inventory that enable vehicle
production. Hence, it can be said that efficient production is ensured by Just In Time
(Moyano-Fuentes and et.al., 2020).
Jidoka- Jidoka is considered as a principle which states that when a problem is identified,
the equipment is required to be settled at a safe stop. It is essential in order to prevent
occurrence of problems due to the defective goods. The use of conventional tools is
fostered by the Human Intelligence functionalities that help in enabling the quality, stop
and signal when the problem is detected. The machines tend to be synchronized with the
upstream operations with the downstream operations rather than pushing them upon
successive machines on the production line. The process is helpful in simplifying the
tools at the lower costs while reducing the maintenance cost as well as time for the tools.
Kaizen- kaizen is a concept of lean management wherein the initiatives regarding the
small improvements are taken by the employees. The employees tend to seek ways in

order to improve the individual performances in order to team up with others. The
concept focuses upon the motivation of employees by giving ownership of the work to
the employees (Rotter and et.al., 2019).
The concepts that have been discussed above are very popularly practised at Toyota. These
concepts have several benefits that have been discussed below.
Focus- The lean management concepts are helpful in reducing the wastage from the
organisation during the operational process. Hence, this facilitates the organisation to
have a work force that focuses upon the activities in order to bring value for the
organisation.
Improving efficiency and productivity- The lean management concepts are helpful in
improving the productivity along with the efficiency of the objectives.
Smarter process- The lean management concepts focus upon the objectives of
switching towards the smarter process which result in better productivity with lesser
efforts.
Better use of resources- The lean management concepts tend to facilitate the
organisation with better use of resources at the organisation during the operational
process.
Task 2
Essay in aspect of Organisation
The concept of lean management that have help in providing a wider system of
framework at the organisation include creation of continuous process flow in order to bring
problems to the surface. Use of pull systems for avoiding overproduction. The organisation for
the focuses upon building a culture to stop in order to fix the problems. This will help the
organisation to get the right quality at the right time. Also the organisation focuses upon the
concept that States that standardized task other Foundation towards continuous improvement as
well as employee empowerment (Isfahani, Tourani and Seyedin, 2019).

Task 3
Suggest the concept that can be helpful for the chosen organisation
The system of lean management that can prove beneficial for the organisation which is it is
creation of a pull system. A stable workflow tends to guarantee that the team is capable of
delivering task in a quick and smooth manner. In order to secure a stable workforce the
organisation is required to create a pull system while following the lean methodology. When this
system is followed the work tends to be pulled only when the demand arises. This is helpful in
optimisation of resources in order to act and deliver the products and services within the capacity
during the need. The system of the concept of creating a pull system is very helpful for saving
time and efforts within an organisation without wastage of the resources (Abdallah, Dahiyat and
Matsui, 2018).
Task 4
Calculation of time in sales
Pre production time = 2+1 = 3 weeks
Production time = 4+2 = 6 weeks
Post production time= 1 week
Lead time= 10 weeks
Week number for bike to be replaced
Lead time if the Bike came from Italy or China
Conclusion

build a stable organisation. In order to you have a prosperous organisation is very important to
