Introduction
This particular assignment is focused on how lean project management can help in building
suburb and infrastructure, and project management practices and processes can be applicable and
helpful in construction management. How project management processes help attain construction
and project management of building a suburb using the guidance of PMBOK guidance. This
particular assignment is applicable over the objective, where such project management
processes, in different activities involved such as choosing the suburb, or choosing the builder
are some of the important parts of management should be included in the process of construction.

The project management processes involved in construction management or choosing the suburb
or the builder is quite important to note here. The project management process in the guidance of
PMBOK, is described by 5 groups of management such as Initiation, planning, execution,
monitoring, and maintenance is important to note here that there are total 47 processes involved
in all these 5 groups of project management, hence it is important to understand the fact here that
how these project management processes and combinations can be helpful in application of these
project.
1. Choose the suburb and decide the land size
In the choosing the suburb and the land size, here under the first group of project managing
project charter is a crucial step in the process, it is because project charter chart out all the
important parts in the construction under priority basis, for example in the construction process,
it is important to mark the blueprint and contour of the land upon which construction will be

for numerous risks which can be avoided through the correct stakeholders.
The quality management plan is also useful in identifying the stakeholders, as during choosing
process of raw material suppliers, it is important to consider such planning processes and the
quality of the product use should be included also.
In the process of risk management, it is used, as risk management processes or plan helps
manage the risks involved in construction such as financial risks, and other risks such as

mistakes, and it monitors the mistakes made by the management during the construction. It is
hence helpful in managing the mistakes, under management processes and facts.
In the elimination of waste, it saves money, and wastage during the construction processes, if
increased, might create risks of financial instability and bad land management, hence elimination
of waste, within the process of the construction is quite useful in managing project management
