Organising a tournament has a huge need of the project management on which this assessment is

based. This assessment will develop to organise the FIFA 2018 world cup football tournament.

This assessment is mainly focused to analyse the different terms related with the organisation of

the tournament. It is a kind of project which has a huge significance of the project management

which will also define in this assessment. Voice of the customer, critical to customer requirement

and critical to quality parameters terms will be explained in this assessment in regards of the

FIFA world cup football tournament 2018. Different ways to implement the lean project

management for the tournament will also be defined in the assessment. In the last part of the

assessment will identify and explain the process from PRINCE2, PMBOK, Lean Six Sigma and

Organisational Project Management Agile Practices in the context of the FIFA world cup.

Lean is a term which is used to develop a regular improvement in the working process which can

help to maximise the use of resources engaged in the project. In this approach wastage of the

resources is eliminated which supports to decline the cost of the project and enhance the usage of

these. The lean approach emphasises on the production according to the demands to manage the

value of the product and as well as to manage the cost of the product. The lean system works on

the people, space, equipment, machinery, plants and materials in producing an effective outcome

for the targeted audience. This approach effects on the improvement in the process of working,

capabilities, manage abnormality and eliminating variance. Just in time, standardise work; visual

management is the different process to manage a leanapproach.
