Introduction
Projects and events in the contemporary world are wide scaled and require different approaches
and processes to manage and organise the systems. The projects in sports industry have observed
an increase in magnitude and areas covered through online and offline mediums. The projects
require multiple services such as planning, organising, financing, and controlling etc. The
projects require activities of effective project management or operations for accomplishing aims
and objectives in a strategic manner (Alleman, 2015). These projects require for management of
events and application of diversified approaches to identify and evaluate the processes and
strategies. The event identified in this project is FIFA Football World Cup Tournament to be
held in Qatar 2022. The managers of this project are to study different aspects and origins in the
fields of stakeholder management, critical management, planning, and organisation etc. This
report will define for critical stakeholders, application of PMBOK, Prince 2, Organisational
Project Management, Agile Practices, and Lean Six Sigma in the respect of Lean Project
Management.
The approach of Lean Management is identified as a project management approach in which
processes and approaches for developing the desired project results and outcomes. Lean
management focuses on reducing the processes to increase productivity and decrease wastage or
errors in the project. It applies the strategies of continuous improvement, incremental changes,
and long term approach management. Lean management creates opportunities for increasing
productivity and also saves up the costs and finances for the projects. This approach can be
applied in different manners in the sphere of FIFA Football World Cup Tournament 2022 to

activities immediately through the software developed in the Agile practices. The software
informs the external stakeholders of changes by rolling out emails, memorandums, and notices
towards the external bodies. It aids in communication with the stakeholders supporting effective

two and effective communication is practiced in the project.
