The lean project management can be referred to as the management of the project of an
organization. Lean management is a very important and necessary approach as it helps the
organization to make some approaches which can help to achieve the criteria of growth and
development. The organizational structure mostly depends on the workforce as they are the
essentials to elaborate and maintain the business but to achieve a stable number of good
employees this is most necessary for the organizations to have some specific approaches. Lean
management provides the same concepts to the organization. The consultancy BDO had adapted
the approach of lean management to get the growth and development as the organization had
introduced some projects for the future growth and the management had provided significant
growth to the approaches. The memo focuses in the importance and relevancy of lean project
management and will also describe the significant ways to attain the approach. The memo
includes information about the importance and significance of lean project management. The
memo also describes some different aspects of lean project management.

The reason for implementing lean project management
According to the author (Franz, 2018), the major reason of implementing the lean project
management is that it critically evaluates the overall structure of project and organization and
this evaluation helps to make the project more effective and impactful. The other reason for
using this concept is the critical observation helps to determine the future risk and risk
assumption will help to make a suitable and necessary risk management plan. The risk is some
approaches which can make a negative impact on the organizational structure and needs to be
removed this management plan will help to remove them. The removal of risk helps to improve
the efficiency of the overall working of the organization. Another benefit of this approach is that
it helps to determine the resources and the requirements of the organization. Resources are the
most necessary element of the organizational structure as they are most necessary to implement
the planning in reality. Another benefit of LPM is that it provides a stable structure of working
which slightly helps the employees to understand and determine their working capabilities. This
determination makes them more concern about the work (Sousa, et. al., 2018). Thus, it can be
stated that the lean project management helps to get organizational growth and development.
Benefits to stakeholders
The stakeholders can be referred to as the most necessary part of an organization as these are the
people or department which are directly or indirectly connects with the growth and development
of the organization. The example of stakeholders is like creditors, investors, employees,
government and so on. The lean project management provides some significant advantages to the
different types of stakeholders depending on their working culture (Mobley, et. al., 2018).
Government: This can be taken as the most important type of stakeholders as the
government makes some policies which are necessary to be followed by the organization
as the policies are for the growth and development of the organization. But if an
organization adapt the lean project management so it will become easy for the
government as in that case the organizations will not require the policies to be applied.
Thus, this management helps to improve the administration of the government.
Investors: These are the essential elements for the organization to achieve a strong
financial stage. As these are the people or department who invest their money and interest
for the organizational growth and development (Thorhallsdottir, 2016). To make the

or approaches which makes then interested in the productivity of organization. The lean
management program helps to make this kind of approaches and also determines some
different ways to attract investors.
Employees: These are also a very necessary type of stakeholders as these are the people
who make the imagination into reality. The employees can be referred to as the most
necessary part of the organizational structure but on the other hand, this is also necessary
to have some approaches to make them engaged and attached with the working culture.
The lean project management does the same as it provides some strategies which help to
make the employees realize about the different aspects of organizational structure (Saier,
2017).
Clients or customer: Customer can be taken as the base of the organizational structure.
As these are the people who attain the values and productivity of the organization. The
biggest success mantra for any organization can be determine and regulate the
productivity as per the need and requirements of the customer. The lean project
management helps to understand the needs and requirements of the customer and this can
be understood that if the customers will become satisfied from the productivity then
automatically organization will lead towards the growth and sustainability. Thus, the
strategies and advantages provided by lean management can helps to attract the
customers.
Owners: The owners are the people or department who build and manage the entire
structure of the organization. This is most necessary for the owners to determine whether
the approaches and strategies which are adapted and delivered to the organization must
be accurate and justify as per the requirements of both the organization and customers
(Ali, et. al., 2018). The lean project management provides some different approaches to
the owners by which they can determine and define the strategies to enhance and
elaborate their business.

different qualities. These success factors are something like that as this help to become different

implementing the plan. The proper planning helps to reduce the complication and
complexity but another thing which can be attain by applying the LPM is that it helps to
manage the staff in the significant way. As it helps to determine and define the needs of
organization these determination helps the employees to understand about organizational
values which makes a proper balance between organization and employee which directly
improves the working capabilities of organization and provides growth and development
(Emblemsvåg, 2014).
Provision of resources: The resources are the most necessary thing for the employees to
make the approaches completed. As the resources can be referred to as the key element to
make the real task implemented. This is most necessary for the organization to provide

appropriate way. The tools and methods of lean management program are waste
reduction, group conception, incessant development, Significance representation, daily
administration, problematic resolution, conception and team concept.
Steps to ensure CSF are in place and how to achieve the LPM mind-set within the
consultancy staff
This is discussed that the CSF is the most necessary concept be determined to achieve the
success in LPM. But the further more necessary thing is to observe whether the planning is going
on the right path or not. These determinations are most necessary as the CSF can only be helpful
if there will be and concept to be achieved in significant way (Chiu & Wang, 2015). To

Determination of ways to observe CSF: The observation can be impact fully determine

know about the changes and requirements of the organization so that they can perform their best

Importance of training: The proper training is most necessary for the employees to determine the

there is a talk about the team work due to some approach like LPM so this is most necessary to

obtained in the training and the training criteria for each department differs as per the
requirement. The training require for different departments is like
o Manufacturing department: The manufacturing department of the organization

This is concluded from the memo that the lean project management is very important to build
