INTRODUCTION
Present report has been conducted on the case scenario of LearnEnglishUK and it is basically
an English language School based in Manchester and London with having thousands of
international students. Number of communication issues is being faced by students. In order to
overcome this, appropriate solutions are being undertaken which are being discussed in this
report.
Common challenges and barriers to effective communication
Communication process many include challenges as well as barriers which affects smooth
transfer of message and information (Moshiri and Cardon, 2020).. Some of the certain part of
challenges is being defined below:-
Psychological Barrier:
This factor is mainly related to consciousness, emotions, status, attitudes opinion and
more which affect psychological state of an individual and further impact upon their
communication ability (Scott, 2020). It further leads towards creation of various obstacles which
affect effective communication process.
Emotional Barrier:
This form of communication barriers mental restrains individual thought and feelings and
further affect their ability to communicate with others. For instance anger is one of the most
important factors of emotional barrier that is having adverse impact upon individual
communication prospectus.
Physical barrier:
This form of barrier mainly takes place because of environmental and natural factors.
These factors affect the flow of information from sender to receiver. Main elements of this factor
include noise, interior, technological problem, design of place environmental factors and more.
Effective strategies for overcoming communication barriers
It is essential to overcome different challenges of barriers in order to make sure that
information is being communicated to each and every individual (Miller and Fyke, 2020).
Mentioned below there are some certain form of strategies through which barriers of
communication can be overcome:

The importance of cultural awareness
It is essential to have proper understanding knowledge of cultural awareness as it helps in
reducing the chances of making bad decisions. In context with present case scenario it has been
underline that LearnEnglishUK is being facing number of issues that has been faced by many
international students. Thus, in order to effectively promote culture awareness it is essential for
school to understand their concern and undertake proper solutions in an effective manner. It will
effectively help them to promote cultural awareness among students through which homely
environment can be provided to them. Thus it has been identified that cultural awareness helps in
making successful intercultural communication through which celebration of diversity can be
made, it further helps in increasing effectiveness of environment.
CONCLUSION
Business communication is an important factor which states exchange of conversation or
message in order to promote organisational objectives, activities and aim. Main purpose behind
this is to increase profitability of company. With having strong business communication overall
productivity can be enhanced.

INTRODUCTION
Communication is defined as an exchange or transfer of information via different medium.
With having best communication practices transferring of information can be assured among
sender or receiver through which aims and objectives can be effectively fulfilled. This report
includes discussion upon general theories galleries of organisational communication along with
the barriers of communication at LearnEnglishUK. Along with this report also include
communication strategies in order to overcome the barrier of communication facilitating at
LearnEnglishUK.
Discuss some general theories of organisational communication
Business communication is defined as a communication of information via different
communication channels in order to fulfil business objectives. There are some certain form of
organisational communication theory can be considered by LearnEnglishUK in order to facilitate
effective communication practices in their environment.
Bureaucratic Theory includes Max Weber and Henri Fayol theories of communication.
In this regard, both of these theories are mainly known for the classical perspective which is
related to organisational communication (Smallwood, 2020). It has been evaluated that Max
theory mainly emphasizes upon structure of organisation rather than upon activities of entity.
According to Max Weber theory it is essential for entity to effectively aim to aspire, according to
this theory it is essential for a bureaucratic organisation to have specialisation and labour,
division, rules and procedures, hierarchy of authority, formal communication, impersonal
environment and detailed job description. While on the other hand according to Henri Fayol, this
theory include unity of direction, unity of command, authority, order, subordination of individual
interest to general interest and scalar chain. Both of these theories involve significant factors
related to organisational communication by practising which LearnEnglishUK can effectively
facilitate effects of form of communication.
As per the Communication Theory Framework, communication can be looked from the
following viewpoints:-

opinions between the receiver and the sender.
Social-

receiver and the sender. In addition to this, communication is reliant on the speech content in a
direct manner.
Systemic-
As per this, communication is a new message that emerges as a result of distinct
interpretations by different people in accordance with their viewpoint and consequently the
attainment of subjective conclusions.
Critical-
According to this, communication is basically a way with which a person demonstrates
their authority among other persons.

Communication is a process which is crucial for each and every organisation as it allows

This is mainly concerned with the barriers associated to psychology of the mind of a
