Introduction
Knowledge management and creativity is related to developing a student’s academic
performance. Developing a learner in particular module is related with evolving a particular
knowledge base that can help in future professional development. Present report is based on a
reflection of the way there has been individual development as learner in the course of academic
learning process (Chasanah, 2020). Further, there is a reflection in the way to deal with future
challenges and meeting the expectations that are part of different University courses.

How you have developed as a learner during this module
Communication skills:
Communication skills are defined as the various set of skills that enables a person to increase the
effectiveness in their communication process. It is a very important skill that helps an individual
in expressing themselves. It is fundamental skill that can help in overall individual, professional
and social development of a individual. There a certain effective communication skills that have
been acquired during the learning process of this module. It includes specific range of both
written and verbal communication skills that have been effectively developed during the working
in the module.
While working on different assignments I was assigned a group activity where I have to
work with other five members to prepare a group presentation on the selected topic. In this
process there was both formal and informal communication that was taking place across the
group during the whole time period of preparation of the presentation.
Communication skills: Technology has played a very effective role in facilitating good
communication process between all the leaders and team members in the assigned group
activities. The communication skill also helped me and learning the importance of effective
functioning as a single unit instead of several individuals with different working patterns.
Conflict resolution skills: There are certain conflict resolution skills that can be used for
the purpose of dealing with the ineffectiveness in the professional working environment. In
professional development employees have to remain aware of future potential complexities so
that they can actively facilitate and deal with the irrational interactions taking place among

employees. I understood the importance of conflict resolution at early stages of problem that
helped me in achievement of future effectiveness conflict resolution process.
Time management skills: In the group activity as part of module I also focus on one of
the most difficult task that was to manage the availability of limited time period. Since the initial
stages of the activity there was very small amount of time period that was available in which all
the activities have to be completed (Arnold and Boggs, 2019). Our team leader supported us by
developing all the work by using a specific Gantt chart as a technique. We also used work
breakdown structure to divide all the activities in smaller parts that can be in more
understandable format. These two tools help me in learning and importance of time management
by enhancing the efficiency of performance in limited available time period.
Resilience and stress management: Through the module I learn the importance of
different skills that are associated with managing the overall stress that arise while working on
the project. This module helped me in understanding the importance of resilience by encouraging
the use my previous skill that can help in balancing the overall associated activities (McCorry
and Mason, 2020). There was use of effective team working skills like collaboration skills in
order to deal with the issues of anxiety, negative working environment, lack of flexibility and
required level of patience. It helped me in being more transparent about the available
opportunities in the upcoming time period.
The overall individual performance has been very helpful in future skill development that
was required in the professional context. The overall skill development and learning process in
the module has helped me in increasing my present skills set. There is practical experiences of
different assignments and group activities that is going to help me in future career path way.
Through working in the module I have understood major 7 behavioural and interpersonal skill
sets that are going to help me in my future professional development (Kurtz and et.al., 2017).
Some of such skills include communication skill, work life balance, conflict resolution, time
management, stress management, patients and self improvement.
Future challenges and meeting the expectations of a university course
There were also some of the issues that were arising related to duplication of some of the task
because there was no proper coordination among some of the group members. I learnt that
effective communication is a key tool that can help in establishment of proper coordination

level in every group activity. Also communication plays a critical role in the process of
successful completion of any task that is allotted in a whole team.
I analysed critically the requirement of specific communication skills that are required to avoid
conflict in such group performances. This activity also helped me in development of self
confidence. Initially when I was allotted the task to present my work towards all the
audiences I was dealing with anxiety and nervousness issues.
There were some of the challenges related to effective communication skills while I was
presenting my part before the audiences. So, I realise that I need to work on my present
confidence level and also my communication skills that can help me in future professional
development. The classroom activities in classroom learning played a very necessity role in the
overall personality development of a individual.

Conclusion
From the above discussed aspects it is concluded that module and learning’s from it have
contributed towards overall personality development as an individual. Communication skill is
very vital in establishment of work culture and patterns in a a professional environment.
Learning process as a student helps to prepare for future professional working practices. These
caves are very important in order to perform the assigned job role responsibilities in the context
of professional working environment.
