At the ECT, it is of prime importance to adapt to a new learning practice and
according to the current scenarios Learning 2.0 is the best alternative. This social computing
tool has been successfully improving the learning process, but for the development of this
tool, certain factors have to be taken into consideration at ECT, they are-
There should be an availability of Learning 2.0 tools for all the learners in the
organization.
The learners have to be educated about the functionality of this tool and also about its
sustainability in the learning process.
The employees should be encouraged to adapt the learning tool for their personal
benefits too.
The learning process for the employees and the program should be decided in
accordance with the knowledge and educational background.
The leader has to continuously encourage the employees and support them in the
learning process.

The key factors that the organization ECT should utilize to implement Learning 2.0
are-
For the organization ECT, it is very crucial to build a better networking inside and
outside the organization, for forming various groups of learning, as this will help the
employees to excel the standards of traditional communications, but for this, it is also
crucial to forming new strategies of networking that encourage learning amongst
employees.

The ECT has a culture that will perfectly encourage this change. The organization,
adaptation of rules and regulations that prohibited the usage of social media in the workplace
and the organization also installed a blocking software that restricts the employees from using
Facebook, Twitter, and many other sites. The other aspect of the organization that cleared
that ECT wanted a change, was the non-compromising nature of the organization towards
learning and the importance given by the leadership team towards implementing a more cost-
effective approach of learning for the employees. The president of the organization exhibited
the right leadership attributes by instantly focusing on the learning and development
processes of the organization, and then on the return on investment of the organization.
Question Four
The leadership team has to be informed about the issues that the organization is facing
due to the lack of an effective learning system and the issues that were emerging due to social
media. The leadership team has to first understand the employees’ current standard of
knowledge and their capabilities of learning. The one biggest advantage of implementing
Learning 2.0 is that it has a higher potential of re-engaging the employees who have been
disconnected from the learning process. The leadership team thus, should utilize this tool that
facilitates learning, achieving, networking, helping in embracing diversity, and helps in the
opening to the society.
