Introduction
This report shows about the learning and development plan, as it shows about the
qualification and other details of the individual. It shows how the individual is meet all the
requirement of the industry in which it wanted to work. As per my qualification is concern, I
have done I have completed my bachelors in electrical computer system engineering and
done my master in business project management in the company. I have taken science as a
main stream and able to complete electrical computers and I able to complete my master in
business project management. As being an project manager I able to judge how the project
will able to work in regards of company and whether it will able to meet all the requirement
more easily and effectively in the company. The experience is that I am new in the industry
as I always wanted to become a project head so that we can able to know about the different
project and also how the company is able to get benefit from the project so being a project
manager is my duty that to check all the details of the project, as I have to make different
kind of strategy so that the company is able to meet all the requirement and able to earn
proper amount of profit in the business.
Megatrends and Challenges
Megatrends is able to change every business practice in the company as it can
overcome all the model and make new model out of it. This trend can have a vast change in
the over company business as being an project manager I have to make proper amount of
strategic so that the company is able to get proper result out of the project and able to get
good return in the business (Al-Aufi and Fulton 2014). This also able to increase the overall
competition in the market as being an manager so this is to be checked by me so that the
company is able to meet the competitions level and able to get proper result in the business.
The corporate success is been achieved by the project manager only when the manager is able

to be disciplined and also able to have a flexibility in the business that can help the company
to achieve their goals and objective easily in the business.
The challenges which is faced by the manager is that as the government is changing
its policy so it makes more challenging for the manager to analysis the project, as it may
happen that due to change in the policy company is not able to meet the requirement more
easily and effectively (Arnold and Boggs 2019). As being a manager and I don’t have much
amount of experience so this make my work more challenging, as I am not having much
amount of experience in the filed so it become very tough for me to cope up the environment
more easily and effectively. As in this industry the capital investment is very high, as the
project are usually having much amount of capital investment so that the company is able to
expand the business project more easily in the business. The level of competition is also very
high as each company is able to have more amount of person being project manager so it
become very hard for me to gain more amount of business in the company.
The project manager is able to gain more amount of improvement in the business so
this will help them to gain more amount of competition in the market, so being a manager its
my duty to solve all the problem which are faced by the company in regards of the project so
that it can help the company to gain more amount of revenue from the market.
Goals in the Profession
The profession is very vast so it will be very to make a career out of the same. As
being a master in project management so my goal is to help the company to achieve more
revenue in the market. Being in this is my own choice as I always wanted to become a project
manager so the expectation which I hold from the industry is that I able to learn many details
of being an project manager and also able to know about the different option which are
available in the company strategy.

The goals which the company or the clients is having is that it able to have proper
project management in the company as the project manager should able to have proper
strategies in regards of the project. They wanted to have to get a proper amount of return
from the business so that it can able to have a proper capital return from the business. The
goal is that it have to finish all the project with in the time allocated to it so that the company
can get proper amount of return from the project, the project manager should be a good
communicator so that the company is able to get more amount of return in the project, as
being a good communicator it will able to analysis all the details of the project and able to
help the company to reach the goals more easily and effectively. Project manager should able
to control the cost of the project as if the company is able to carry its business operation more
effectively than only it can reach the market share more easily and effectively. Company
should able to match the cost properly and it is the duty of the project manager to control the
cost which can lead the return to more amount to the company. It should also able to provide
quality product and service as this will help the company to make a proper amount of name in
the market so the project manager should able to provide sufficient amount of quality to the
company.
Strategic should be made by the company in regards of the project so that it can be
able to achieve the required amount of return in the business. As the manager should able to
match all the requirement with the industry benchmark that can help them to meet up with the
trade and practice which the company is having in the industry. Project manager should able
to make proper financial strategic so that it can able to meet up the business requirement as
each project requires more amount of money so it is duty of the company manager to plan the
project as per the need and preferences of the company with the project.

The smart approach will help me to decide my goals and objective more easily as this
plan is been design to meet and manage the goals and plan accordingly to meet those goals in
the organization. So the smart approach is shown below
1. Specific – Firstly I need to be specific about mu goals and objective in the profession,
as this will help me to check the aspects more easily by focusing upon a single object
in the organization and which lead to achieve the goals more easily and timely.
2. Measurable Time – Secondly, I have to plan the timing of the project as this will
help me to know the efforts which I have to give in the project. Each project should be
time based then only an individual will able tom achieve it easily and effectively.
3. Attainable – It should be completed with in the time and all should able to overcome
all the barrier which may come during the execution of the project. As the goals
should be attainable, so in order to do so I have to plan according all the risk and other
matter which can affect the project as a whole.
4. Relevant - The goals which are been set by the individual should be relevant as this
could be achieved by a person, it should not be something which is impossible to
achieve by the individual
5. Time-bound – This factor shows the about the time bounding which should be there
in every project so that the company is able to meet all the goal and objective easily
and effectively. I have to manage all the time while carrying the project so that the
company can achieve the goals easily and effectively.
Ethics and Professional Value
Ethics is the concept which help the individual to know what is right and what is not.
Each professional should able to have proper amount of ethics in the business, as if the
individual is able to have proper ethics than only it can able to make proper amount of
revenue in the business. As being a professional I have to follow many principles so that it

can able to clear all the problem in the business and able to carry the business activities more
easily in the business, the principle which I follow are:
1. Integrity – This principle state that an individual should be loyal and honest with its
profession, so that it can able to carry its business operation more easily in the market.
As I am the project manager so I am able to be straight forward with the company in
regards of the requirement so that no one is able to comment upon the ethics of the
manager as it able to clear all the stuff to the company before taking charge of the
project.
2. Objectivity – This principle is able to show that the professional should able to carry
all the goals with being bias to any person or company as it should able to maintain
the details of its profession while carrying business activities. I am able to have this
principle in my working style as I always do what is right as per my knowledge and
my professional behaviour so that it can help me to be independent in regards of
company project.
3. Professional Competence and Due Care – Each individual should able to have the
required amount of knowledge which the company is required in the profession, as the
individual should able to have proper amount of knowledge in regards of the
profession. As if the individual is not able to have the required knowledge than it will
be hard for him to perform the activity in the business. I being an professional so I
should be able to have proper amount of knowledge in regards of the profession, so
being an project manager I am able to hold a master degree in the same so this show
that I able to have proper amount of knowledge in the profession which will help me
to gain the goals and objective of the company more easily and effectively.
4. Confidentiality – This principle show that the individual should able to be confident
with its profession as it should able to hold the confidentiality in the information

which it get in its profession. As I am able to be a project manager so I able to have
many details of the company that can effect company financial position so I should
not able to disclose the fact with anyone else so this should be there in the company
employee which will help the company to secure all the sensitive information of
company business activities.
5. Professional Behaviour – Each individual should able to follow all the norms and
regulation in the company so to maintain that it should able to carry a professional
behaviour in the company. It will help them to know all the required knowledge and
able to utilize the same in company business. I being an professional should able to
know all the required amount of knowledge in the business which can help to gain
advantage to the company in the business.
From the above it can see the ethics which is been followed by me in the business, as this will
help me to gain an advantage in the business as well as I will able to carry all the business
more easily and effectively in the company.
Competency Assessment
The skill which are required for the job is there in me, so this show that I can able to
carry all the activities more easily and effectively in the business. As this show that I am able
to create a proper description which is required for the job. The skills are:
1. Communication Skills – The skill which is required by the profession as it should
able to communicate easily which will help the individual to get over the business
activities easily and effectively. As this the skill which I am able to executed in the
business, as I am able to communicate very well so I will able to have to gather more
amount of information which will help me to communicate the same in the company.
I am able to communicate properly so that each employee will able to carry its

2. Leadership Quality – As I am able to create more quality in the product, as I am able
to have all the leadership quality in the communication. I am able to be goal oriented
so that each individual is able to achieve their goals easily and effectively.
3. Budget Control – Being a project manager it is my duty to control, the cost of project
so that the company is able to earn more amount of revenue in the company. So, this
quality is there in me as I am able to know how it can able to control the cost as well
as so that it can able to achieve more amount of revenue in company.
4. Strategic Management – This is one of the most important skills and I am able to
have these skills as can able to create proper amount of strategic in the business which
can help me to gain competition in the market. Strategic management is the strategy
which the company have to make in regards of its business activities so I am able to
make proper amount of strategy in the business.
Improvement in personal development
Each individual should able to develop its skill so that it can complete all goals and
objective in the business. As to improve this I have learn many skills about communication
which will help me to create more business activities, as I have to know about more of
interpersonal skills so that I will able to communicate more properly to the team as well as it
will help to gain more revenue in the business. Personal Development is necessary for each
professional as this will help the professional to gain more knowledge about the profession so
that it can know more about the professional knowledge in the company business.
As per SWOT is concern, I am able to have many things which could be turned as my
strength.

Five Stage of Competence
Stage 1 – Unconscious Incompetence - This stage show that the individual is not able to
know about the knowledge level which is required for the profession, as per my knowledge is

concern, I am aware of the knowledge that is require in the profession and able to posses all
the required knowledge in myself (Davis Boykins 2014).
Stage 2 - Conscious Incompetence – This stage shows about the knowledge which the
individual knows about the lack of skills which are there in the individual, as per my skills is
concern I am able to judge all the lack of skill and able to make necessary efforts to earn that
knowledge in my behaviour (Thompson 2018).
Stage 3 – Conscious Competence – This stage shows how the individual is able to show all
the related skills and knowledge in the business, as I am able to exercise all my knowledge in
working in the company so able to provide all the knowledge in the company
Stage 4 – Unconscious Competence – In this the person show all the skills and knowledge but
in a very less focus and concentration. As per my skills are there, I am able to have some
skills which are shown by very less focus in the business.
Stage 5 – Shared Competence – This show that the individual is able to help other by
showing how it is able to achieve the competence in the company and also how one should
able to achieve the same in the business.
PEST Analysis
Political – This factor shows the political changes which can affect one profession, as being a
project fund manager, I have to know all the changes which are taking place by the
government that will help me to real value of the project. I should know all the rules and
regulation related to my profession.
Economic – This factor show the changes in the economy that are related to interest rate and
inflation rate, as I am able to check each project return, so should have the proper knowledge

in regards of inflation of country and change in different rate as this will help me to judge the
project more easily and effectively.
Social – This factor shows the culture norms of each place and while carrying the business
one should able to follow, I being a professional show know all the culture value, type of
population as this will help me to carry the business profession more easily in the market.
Technological – This factor shows the changes which took place in the technology as the
technology is changing day by day so it is my responsibility to meet up with the technology
and able to upgrade myself so that I can use proper technology in the business.
Conclusion
The report concludes about the learning and development plan as it concludes about
how an individual is able to create a career in the industry. It shows about how an individual
is able to create more amount of business in the company. As I have done bachelor in
electrical computer engineering and completed master in business project management. So, it
shows how the individual is able to create it career in project management. First part of the
project is able to conclude upon the self-introduction which able to show about the individual
and it career details in the profession. Secondly it able to conclude about the megatrends and
challenges as how the career is able to face the changes and how the professional is able to
get rid of the changes in the company. It also shows about the goals of the individual as what
