AI Summary
This report comprises two main tasks: an exploration of learning styles and a literature review on health and social care. The learning styles section delves into the importance of understanding individual learning preferences, utilizing the Honey and Mumford framework to identify activist, theorist, pragmatist, and reflector styles. It also acknowledges the role of intelligence, referencing Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences, and reflecting on personal strengths and weaknesses in relation to these models. The second task presents a literature review that emphasizes the crucial role of health and social care, particularly in the context of employee well-being and organizational challenges. It highlights the significance of employee health and safety, discussing challenges such as COVID-19, employee turnover, and productivity. The review suggests strategies for organizations to improve health and safety procedures, including non-discrimination, strict health and safety rules, and providing benefits like leaves, medical check-ups, and insurance to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.

INTRODUCTION
Learning is the continuous process in which an individual do not stop to learn (Moser and
Zumbach, 2018). This report will be focusing on two task in which one of them is understanding
of learning styles and other one is literature review. The discussion of learning style is necessary
as it helps to an individual for achieving their goals and objectives. On the other hand, the second
task is literature review which is on the health and social care. Day by day the need of health and
social care is increasing due to many reasons such as pollution, diseases, corporate social
responsibility, etc.

Essay on learning styles
Learning is very important for every person because it helps in achieving goals and
objectives. It is identified that environment get more complex and competitive so that's why
learning is crucial. Learning is the process in which an individual learn skills and knowledge that
helps to grow them in their career (Urick, 2017). It is the continuous process that means learning
need at every stage and age. The age cannot decide the end of learning. At every age, a person
can learn anything that they want. It is necessary for an individual that they should consider
learning styles. Every person has different perception and thinking level so that's why their
learning styles can be different. This is necessary to understand the learning style that can be
understand by using framework, theory or concept. One important theory which is effective for
understanding of learning style is Honey and Mumford. In the learning process, a person cannot
consider that how they have to be learn. They always consider only one thing that is what they
have to learn. So that's why it is necessary for an individual that they need to understand the
application of theory which helps to answer the right question.
For the purpose of an effective learning process, Honey and Mumford learning style is
need to use by individuals. It provides the guidances of four important learning styles which was
developed by Peter Honey and Alan Mumford. Four important learning styles that are identified
in this theory are reflector, activist, theorist and pragmatist (Wei and et. al., 2018). The first style

Essay on learning styles
Learning is very important for every person because it helps in achieving goals and
objectives. It is identified that environment get more complex and competitive so that's why

For the purpose of an effective learning process, Honey and Mumford learning style is
need to use by individuals. It provides the guidances of four important learning styles which was
developed by Peter Honey and Alan Mumford. Four important learning styles that are identified
in this theory are reflector, activist, theorist and pragmatist (Wei and et. al., 2018). The first style
is activist which is adopted by those people that believes in learning by doing. That means they
are the person who love to enjoy challenges. They are behaving very actively in the process of

learning. These people include activities such as competitions, brainstorming, puzzles, problem
solving, etc. In the second learning style which is theorists, they always like to understand the
reason or theory behind with every actions. They are the person who want to understand the
logics and theory behind every action. For that purpose, they need to consider some models or
concepts. They also prefer to analyse the situation and then draw some new information in a
systematic and logical manner. The third learning style is pragmatist in which people identifies
the ways that how they can put their learning into real world. They believe that it is very useless
if people are unable to apply theory or concepts into real world. They always focus on objectives
as they think that it’s very necessary to clear objectives in order to achieve their goals. The last
reflector which focuses on learning the things with the help of observations. They take
information from various alternatives and then come into a conclusion.
In addition to learning style, intelligence is playing a crucial role and that's why one
important theory is adopted which is Howard Gardner's theory that proposes people are not
born with all intelligence (Karagiannis and Satratzemi, 2018). It simply means that people who
thought that intelligence is born from birth and it is only one type i.e. general intelligence which
is not correct. In addition to this, they also need to know that there are eight types of intelligence
which was suggested by Gardner. It includes spatial, musical, interpersonal, linguistic, intra
personal, bodily-kinesthetic, logical and naturalist. These are the multiple intelligence that shows
that a person can have all of these talents.
After analysis of Gardner’s theory and Honey and Mumford’s theory, I identified
some my strengths and weaknesses. I identified that my learning style is activist which is very
effective in order to learn anything because it just give theoretical knowledge but also provide
practical knowledge. In today's environment as per the complexities is increasing so every sector

environment because without linguistic intelligence work cannot be completed.
