1MY EXPERIENCE OF LEARNING AT UNIVERSITY
Respected Sir,
Concerning the course that I undertook in the university, I was able to learn three vital
aspects in my first three weeks. These aspects are time management, reflective practices and
note taking. I was able to learn the following:
Time management
a) Main feature of time management
I learnt that High productivity within the set frame of time is the main feature of time
management.
Importance of learning time management for getting success at universities
I learnt that time management is necessary for achieving success at university level.
Punctuality should be followed in every aspects of our life. Planning your studies well before
the time. Avoid delay in any study related matter. Study and if any project are there to be
submitted then do that before time. Work with keeping in mind of the deadline. We cannot
afford to lose our time. We should do our best to grab all the unexploited opportunities
(Grissom, Loeb and Mitani 2013).
b) Problems might face by me and the reason behind that
I might fail to manage the distraction as I am unable to focus on my studies due to lack of
concentration and taking too much time in understanding a topic. Not prioritizing my studies
(Nespor 2014).
c) How time management makes me feel now that I have information
By managing my time, I can feel the difference. The benefits which I got are as follows-
Less problems face during my studies
Improves my reputation

Reflective practices
a) Main feature of reflective practices
The main feature of reflective practices is you can identify yourself as well as
professional strengths and the areas where one individual need to work.
Importance of learning reflective practices for getting success at universities
It is important because it helps to develop certain skills and analyse their effectiveness,
rather than just carrying out the things as it is and how these things are always done (Moon
2013).
b) Problems might face by me and the reason behind that
It is suggested that this de-motivation occurs because of lack of resources, lack of
recognition, overwork and lack of appreciation of the additional burdens put on academics,
and invariably the institutions themselves, by widening participation and lifelong learning
initiatives. Therefore, it is suggested that universal reflective practice may come in the long
term but only once the deeper-seated problems within the sector are resolved.
c) How reflective practices makes me feel now that I have information
Reflective practices help me in understanding my opinions regarding the course.
