Introduction
Learning styles are the different ways of learning that are utilized for perfect and
proper knowledge of any domain through a unique style. There are various styles of learning
like verbal linguistic, musical, interpersonal, spatial visual, logical mathematical and many
more. These learning styles help the learner to learn as well as explore new things in his
personal as well as professional life. I have selected a learning theory of my choice and have
provided various details about them.
The following report outlines a brief discussion on the particular learning theory, I
have selected and how it is beneficial for any learner. Moreover, I have provided three
academic resources that discusses about my chosen learning theory. The various categories of
learning are also provided in this particular report. The part 2 of this report is about a skills
audit that I have done regarding my skills identification and development plan. The part 3 of
this report discusses about the potential employers and the legal responsibilities and
obligations of an employer within a work place under Australian law. I have also provided
the government and industry groups that are available for supporting the unethical acts.

Part 1: Learning Theory
There are various types of learning theories. I have selected the Transformative
learning theory amongst them. According to Taylor, 2017, it is the procedure of transforming
the perspective in three important dimensions, namely, psychological, convictional and
behavioural. The psychological dimension mainly deals with the alterations in understanding
self. The convictional dimension deals with revising the belief systems and the behavioural
dimension deals with the alterations in lifestyle. As per Christie et al., 2015, transformative

assumptions as well as beliefs.
The various categories of learning styles are as follows:
i) Visual: This type of category provides visual learning style (Howie & Bagnall,
2013).
ii) Aural: This type of learning style provides music and sound.
iii) Verbal: This type of learning style provides writing and speech lesson
iv) Physical: This type of learning provides physical appearance (Illeris, 2014).
v) Logical: This provides logical reasoning and systems.
vi) Social: This provides interpersonal learning style
vii) Solitary: This provides intrapersonal learning style.
Transformative learning theory involves verbal, physical and social learning styles.
The learning category of social style completes defines me as I prefer to learn new things in
groups and with other people (Sammut, 2014). The main benefit of this category is that new
things could be easily explored and thus the domain knowledge could be increased. For
example, I was never a technology savvy. However, with the help of my peers and friends, I
have learnt all the features of the electronic goods and have increased my knowledge.
