INTRODUCTION
Learning is considered as process of improving existing skill, knowledge, preferences,
value, behaviour etc. Learning can easily be acquired by individuals in effective manner by
adopting rightful learning style or strategy that provides them guidance about areas which are
required to be developed (Darling-Hammond, 2015). It simply plays an essential role in growth
of academic career as it brings various opportunities to the learner in positive manner. The
current project is comprised of several learning strategies that if helpful for individual in
acquiring learning in best possible manner. It also includes explanation regarding study plan that
is consist of short and long term goal.
Main Body
Discuss different learning strategies that allow individuals to learn best.
Learning refers to the procedure of developing knowledge, skill etc. of individual which
supports them in attaining their success in quicker manner as they are more knowledgeable. As
per the information developed from the article, it can be said that there are numerous of learning
strategies which could be acquired by learners or individuals for improvising their modifying
their skills and knowledge in quicker manner (Muijs and Reynolds, 2017). Among the all, the
best strategy of learning is identified as paying attention to the presented topic. According to this
strategy, it is essential for individual to pay attention while having the discussion with their team
mates or class room lecture in order to understand actual motive of communication. It also aware
them about importance of the topic in their personal life which influences them to perceive it in
quicker manner. In addition to this, another strategy explored from the article it regular based
interaction (Duchesne and McMaugh, 2018). This simply means that it is essential for
individuals to indulge into discussion or interactions so that they can learn in quicker manner.
This means that when two or more people interact with one another them so that they can
develop their knowledge on different perception of people having on the similar topic. This also
allows learners to open up their mind and improves their learning ability in effective manner
(Gilboy, Heinerichs and Pazzaglia, 2015). In context of academics zone, it can be said that
teachers often prefers to include some interaction session for students so that they can easily
enhance their learning skills. These interaction session not only increasing learning capability of
students but it improves their communication, interaction, confidence and many other associated

academic skill that contributes in their academic growth in quicker manner. Apart from this, the
article has also explored that learning styles are also adopted by business managers which not
only improves knowledge of employees but also supports them in attaining their organisational
goals in quicker manner.
Develop a study plan that includes short-term and long-term goals to attain both academic and
professional success
Goal setting theory mainly provides guidance to the individual about developing effective
goal for them so that they can effectively accomplish their goals and objectives in rightful
manner. Development of effective goals also allows individual about their working pattern and
how they can modify their working practices in the same manner without risk (Gilboy,
Heinerichs and Pazzaglia, 2015). Individuals who are seeking for the growth are now able to
develop both the long term as well as short term goal that will definitely contribute in quick
success in their academic as well as professional career. Goal setting theory also includes
SMART criteria and also suggests all individuals to develop their goal with inclusion of same so
that they can attain success in the quicker manner. Two of the common example developed in
order to understand both the long term and short term goal in individuals life that also support
them in the growth of their professional and academic success are defined as below:

can be said that individual or learners can easily accomplish their goals by incorporating with it
rightful manner. Here short term goal developed by learner is to attend English speaking classes
for 45 days and take down notes on specific topic for 1 hour at daily basis. As per this goal,
learner has planned to attend spoken classes for 1 hour in order to improve their English. It has
been further seen that if learner accomplish all work related to this then they can easily develop
their skill and attain their objective in quicker manner (Keeley, 2015). On the other hand, Long
term goal developed by the learner is “To participate in group discussion session every day for

developing my knowledge and enhancing interaction skills.”. Here learner is wishing to develop
their interaction skill by indulging into group discussion session every day. This will help them
in developing their knowledge on communication skill with the help of which they can grow
effectively in quicker manner. With the brief analysis of both long and short term goals, it can be
said that effective incorporation of goal setting theory they can easily grow in quicker manner.
CONCLUSION
On the basis of above described information, it is comprehended that learning is the essential
part of every individual which allows them in attaining success in quicker manner. for attaining
success in rapid manner, it is essential for individual to best learning strategy that ensures that
they learn in easier and faster manner. It has been analysed that paying attention is identified as
main strategy by which learners can easily perceive information and utilise them in future in
rightful way. Also, usage of goal setting theory allows individual in developing longer term and
short term goal which is supportive in attaining their professional and academic success.
