Each person has a different learning style which affect his/her life (Schmeck, 2013).
When individual try to learn something new they prefer to read, listen or learn through
demonstration. Learning style can be defined by many ways such as Visual, Auditory and
Kinesthetic (Wong and Nunan, 2011). This provides direction for learning and teaching so that
individual can improve their skills and perform effectively within the firm. Learning style
involve different factors, behaviour and attitude that helps in improving learning for an
individual in given situation. Effective leadership is a complex interaction between personal,
professional and experience people.
My learning style is auditory and visual. They influence me as a leader when working
and getting strong image and accurate picture in real world. Learning style helps to understand
different people in different way. Sometime, as a learner I prefer to learn actively or interactively
so that one can work better within the firm.
My learning style is Visual which means that I learn better by seeing image, graphics,
models etc. With the help of this, I learn fast and make accurate decisions in favour of Tesco.
Thus, it influences me in identifying the requirements of workers and fulfilling them to achieve
organizational goals. It is essential for the leader to have clear vision which would help them to
make strategic planning for future course of time. Before making any decision, I should consider
all viewpoints given by people so that it does not negatively influence others within firm.
Instructions given by Tesco should be written down because remembering verbal communication
is difficult task (Gilakjani, 2011). By explaining through picture, employee memorizes and
learns effectively which will help in increasing productivity. To increase in work effeciency I
should organize visual games as it will assist in building bonding between me and my employee.
Some of visual games which influences me such as team building activity, business game or
mental ability, or online games such as Time management etc.
At TESCO, auditory learning is done by hearing and listening of problem. I try to resolve
their huddle as soon as possible.. By listening lectures, music etc. it will help me to achieve
target of the organisation . I should listen to the problem of the employee first and then to react
on that same situation because if I solve problem of workers then employee will work more
efficiently and effectively. This style helps to fill the gap between me and employee because
employee will become familiar, friendly and will not hesitate in telling something. If I
understand the problem employee are facing related to technology, atmosphere, or any other I

will try to provide training to them and this will lead to increase in efficiency of worker.. In
auditory learning, employee should write down key words so that they get help at the time of
working in the industry. In this style, as much as I listen I will learn more and more because if I
get rigid then I will not be able to learn things more effectively.
