INTRODUCTION
Learning styles can be defined as the ways in which individuals adopt different things
which are learned by them. These are mainly used by educators for the purpose of enhancing
skills and abilities of their students (Andreou, Papastavrou and Merkouris, 2014). For all the
individuals it is very important to learn properly because it is the major element which can help
to attain long as well as short term carer goals. This essay covers different topics such as various
learning strategies. Apart from this, it also focuses on a study plan which is formed by taking
short and long term objectives in to consideration.
MAIN BODY
Different learning strategies
Learning can be defined as the ability of an individual to get the aspects which are taught
by their educators. For this purpose different types of strategies could be used by teachers in
schools and colleges. All of them are as follows:
Discussion learning strategy: It is one of the common learning strategy in which
individuals learn through discussion among their peer group. With the help of this learning
strategy all the students will be able to learn in best manner because there is no guideline for
them to discuss. This strategy helps to clear all the doubts with educator which helps individuals
to enhance their knowledge (Different learning strategies, 2019).
Games learning strategy: It also a learning style in which educators try to provide deep
knowledge to their students with the help of games. It is considered as the best strategy which
can help individuals to learn properly as it enhance attentiveness and sharpen the mind. Teachers
try top teach with the help of games in which students take interest. With the help of it learners
can explore different parts of games in the form of learning.
Demonstration learning strategy: This learning strategy is a method of visual approach
of learning which helps learners to examine processes, ideas and information. It allows students
to examine all the activities which are performed by teachers so that they may get engaged in
them. It is mainly used for small kids which are at the age of 3 to 5 as it is the starting of their
learning phase (Gu, 2014).
Drill and practice learning strategy: It is the most familiar strategy to the educators as
it is mainly used by them for small tasks such as memorisation of vocabulary words. It is also

used by them to teach arithmetic facts to the students with repetition that helps them to keep all
the learned content in mind. It is also considered as the more sophisticated learning strategy as
compare to others such as games (Sternberg and Zhang, 2014).
Simulations learning strategy: It is the strategy in which instructional scenarios are
created where students are placed in a world which is showed to them by the teacher. While
using it educators represent reality in front of them within which they can interact properly. It is
the best way of learning because it can help to enhance constructivist learning (Lee, and Heinz,
2016).
Cooperative learning strategy: This strategy is also known as small group learning
because while using it educators create small groups of students in which all the members are
required to work together to complete a common task successfully. While using it simple or
complex problems could be provided by educator to the learners. Easy one could be a multi step
mathematics equation and the tough one could be as developing a design for a new kind of
school. It is also a good way to learn because it helps to enhance skill to deal with all the critical
situations properly (Hodson, 2014).
From the above discussion it has been concluded that there are various learning strategies
which could be adopted by educators for the purpose of providing best learning experience to all
the students. With the help of them abilities and skills to achieve long term career goals could be
enhanced (Truong, 2016).
