Personal statement
My name is Rahul Gupta, a school graduate with art stream. Now I am going for graduation in
civil engineering in architecture at Leeds international study centre in Kuwait in order to increase
my knowledge and art skills which can help me in to attain career goals. I am continually
searching a new institution for further study in civil engineering in architecture which can help to
to learn about architecture and art . My details are as follows:

Hobbies and interests: In my spare time I like to read books which help to gain my experience
in the educated field and listen music. I also like to play cricket and football in my spare time
which keeps me healthy and energetic and helps to increase self confidence in the educated field
also.
Work experience:
I having good qualities which can enhance my personal and professional skills and
development. I absolutely determined to make a small contribution to the world and gain best
engineering skills through your institution.
As a art student and member of institution of civil engineering. I am also attend various
seminars, conferences and workshop in this this field which can create my interest in such field.

For example, at now I am particularly passionate by area of innovative design in architect with a
cost effective manner..
Mature student: I also sometimes join my uncle who is a civil engineer to gain the more and
more experience in this field and achieve A levels at the time of academics. I have joined him as
assistant in various projects so that I could understand the basic and key parts of this field . It had
helped me lot to gain interest in this field and I am highly motivated to move ahead in this field.
My strengths:I have achieved good attendance, punctuality and behaviour certificates, good
mock exam results and good homework and class-work. I have good communication skills
whereas good teamwork skills which I had gained in my school through various working projects
and events. I have good computer and mathematical knowledge required in this field to gain A
levels. I am pleased with A grade in deigns, architecture, information technology, graphs etc. I
have recently gone through the mock classes and have learn lot to get succeeded in exams and
received the same results.
International Standards:From this college I hope to gain A levels in various subjects like
physics, mathematics,graphs etc. I am convinced I would join architecture and would continue
incorporating the strongest aspects of my personality into my academic studies. These aspects
include my fascination with art and design, my interests and enjoyment of various cultures and
environments and a passion for solving practical problems whilst working with others. My initial
interest in architecture began while working with my uncle in this field.
Future Plans :he architecture prepares individuals for careers in designing, planning, managing,
building, and maintaining the built environment. Individuals pursuing a career in the architecture
to work on new structures, restorations, additions, alterations, and repairs. I not only interested in
designing new buildings and spaces in and around them but also redesign and restore the old
buildings and develop new way of constructing and using existing buildings because in this
world every person do not have the financial position to built new premise but as the time
changes, in the global technological world the requirements of the person and the social circle
changes and we need to walk parallel with these changes. So I like to help those people to walk
along the technological changes and make best use of the present resources with the limited
financial resources. Therefore, it is a fascinating, tough, inspirational, creative, innovative and
future-shaping career appeals to me so I consider architecture. Working closely with clients and

users, I will make sure that projected designs full fill the requirements of client and are
functional, safe and economical. Architecture usually control a project from start to finish and
work with a number of construction professionals, including surveyors and engineers, producing
drawings and specifications that the construction team works to.
Hence, I can honestly say that my desire to be accepted for this course of two main factors. First
related with my interest in the subject area and second is related with my willingness to gain
qualification in your college. I hope this will enable me to stand out above candidates with just a
degree to future employers as I wish to enter into a position that I take both an interest in but also
have the skills and qualifications to fulfil the role properly and efficiently. In the end, I hole that
it is clear to see that I am very passionate about this field and qualified for the admission in your
institution.
