Introduction
Teaching is a noble profession through which new opportunities and ways are introduced to new
generations. In this study, a vivid idea regarding different experience of a classroom are properly
provided along with different examples. The University of Oxford is one of the most famous
universities of the United Kingdom. This university with important aims provides legal
education and training. The university wants to establish an institute which becomes one of the
famous institutes for legal education. The university aims to provide sufficient information to the
learners by which they will be a professional lawyer and legal person who able to improve the
nation’s status. Aspects of teaching my strengths and improvements are properly introduced
through the study.

Task 1
Understand the aims and philosophy of education and training in a specialist area
1.1 Explain key aims of education and training in own specialist area
The University aims to provide legal education to its students. Legal education is one of the most
important educations, which gives lawyers to society and it deals with the other area of human
life. The study of law is one type of human science, and it is furnished beyond skills, techniques
and well qualified physically and intellectually. Study related to law contains many profession or
careers like law researcher, law teacher, and lawyer and many other that are other branches
where law plays an essential role in a commercial field like businesses, industries, and others. It
also performs an important role in the places, where the requirement of legal skills and
knowledge (Reece and Walker, 2016).
The main aim of legal education is to give professional advocates. ‘Professional advocates’ is the
term which not only contains the meaning lawyer or litigation and others. By professional
advocates, it's meaning is to give an advocate who can argue in any court and whose service is
mostly dependent on the degrees in it (Bloom, 2018).
The important purpose me as a knowledge provider of the University is to train the students for
the law profession regarding different aspects of Contract Law which is my main area of
expertise. Through my classroom activities, I provide knowledge of different Contract law to
take part in their improvement and growth. Other teachers of our University also help the pupil
to know the rights and regulations of their nation and their duties towards the country. The
students of the legal education system capable of being familiar with their rights (Henry et al.,
2017).
Through my classroom activities, I provide a training facility for the students. I train the students
in such a way, so that can give society a perfect professional lawyer. My study room activities
give the knowledge of legal rules, both procedural and substantive to the person of their legal
education department. It provides the learner with sufficient knowledge to experience and
applies the legal rule. Knowledge of social and historical background of legal system also
provided to the students of the university. It gives information about other countries legal system

and education upon it, so that they (the learner) do not discover themselves wholly loss when
they compare themselves to others. The tutors of the university give their efforts upon essential
things is that to encourage the students to come and take part in discussions, moot court,
seminars, legal aids, and many others. These help the learner to learn the concepts of law clearly
and capable of applying the law.
1.2 Analyze philosophical issues relating to education and training in own specialist area
There are some philosophical issues arise relating to education during training time. I saw that
there are issues related to the University’s aim, as it is not possible for the university to work
totally on their aims. There is another issue that also arises in the concept of education as the
concept is change according to time, so to adopt the new concept the students face problem
sometimes (Noddings, 2018).

2.1 Describe the aims and structure of key qualifications in own specialist area
The legal unit aims to develop the skills and the knowledge of a learner considering teaching in a
specialised area. There are several aims concerning teaching in a specific and specialised area.
My specialised area is the Contract Act, where I emphasise on certain legalised contracts and
spread knowledge to students. I have GCSE certification that allows me to teach in the
University. The specialised legal area aims to promote proper knowledge in the legal field. Legal
education aims to furnish the skills and techniques. Through legal study, a student develops
adequate and academicals knowledge and concepts regarding Contract Laws. There would be
adequate knowledge about the law, which helps to get admittance to legal practice. Producing
lawyers is the primary aim of legal education (Fung et al., 2017).
2.2 Describe the aims and structure of learning programs in own specialist area
I use visual learning program where I have introduced presentations and pictures consisting of
information related contract law. First, I introduce visual presentation to students then I provide a
lecture to students regarding contemporary issues in Contract Law and the last part of the class. I
utilise it as a doubt clearance session.

In the role play session in the subject, I have specialisation, I played the role of a judge Student 1
is the plaintiff, and Student 2 is the defendant.
Scenario
The plaintiff got the cheque which was dishonored, so the plaintiff filed a suit against the
defendant
STUDENT 1: As the plaintiff, “I plead you for justice, my lord! I got dishonoured cheque from
the defendant.”
ME: I asked the defendant, “Have you done the forgery intentionally?”
STUDENT 2: To Me, “No! My lord, I was aware of the fact that I don’t have a sufficient amount
in my account, but I was not intended to do a forgery.”
ME: To the defendant, “It proves that you have given the dishonoured cheque to the plaintiff
intentionally. So I direct the officers to take the defendant into the custody for three years, and as
compensation to the plaintiff I direct the defendant to compensate double amount to the
plaintiff.”
This roleplay was done in the class among the students.
2.3 Explain how own approach to planning and preparation for the delivery of a learning
program in own specialist area enables its aims to be met
The planning and preparation are the best part of an educational program. My planning and
preparation process often adheres to different problems that are mostly seen among students.
There must be proper planning for the objectives of the subject and how the purpose of the topic
fits into the aims of education. The assessment of learning and teaching is to help the students
aim regarding the subject. The approach towards the student in learning would be considered.
The context of the educational program would base on the place where the subject is fitted into
the course. There would also be a determination of the students who are willing to take the
subject. The students must be observed, their nature and viewpoint of the students about issues
regarding the subject (Holley, 2016).

1.1 Analyse the inclusiveness of its approach to the planning and preparation of a learning
programme in own specialist area
The mission of the University of Oxford wants to give outstanding law college of the country. To
achieve the goal, the University prepared the student of it to be a professional lawyer and leaders
and able to give services to the Country and commonwealth, generate largely recognised law
scholarship, and donate to the improvement of justice (Law.uk.edu, 2019).
When I am attending the class, then I make an environment in which the students work together.
By this way, I promote equity among them. There is no discrimination takes place in my class as
every student work together by helping each other (Carpenter and Dickinson, 2016).
The University provides flexibility in participating and doing an activity to the students. It
encourages the learner to participate in all the opportunity, which has been given them. The
students are provided with many techniques to learn and adapt to the study. For support, every
student, my classroom activities encourage students to utilise the self-evaluation instrument to
hold and support with the private tutorial. A move, which is different from the traditional
didactic speech is taken by the university to facilitate the learner (Inclusive and Plymouth, 2019).
1.2 Explain how own approach to the planning and preparation of a learning programme
in own specialist area takes account of key curriculum issues, including the role of new and
emerging technologies
There are some important curriculum issues in the planning and training of learning. I faced
curriculum issues at the time of teaching to the learner. Curriculum issue takes place when there
is a lack of change in subjects and syllabus. I faced issues as there is a lack of needs and
resources to solve the problems related to studies of the students.

The students need many new and emerged resources or technology such as:
Innovative Applications
In modern day many technologies could help the students. Introduction of innovative
applications helps the students in the study (Cordingely et al., 2015). There are vast numbers of
learning application that a student can use to gain proper knowledge of the subject. In my visual
learning process, I use powerpoint presentations which are shown through projectors which are
one of the most common applications to train students and support another educator.
Digital Literacy
This type of study distracts as well helps the student. Hence, I must aware of the risk. Digital
literacy helps students differently. Students can take help from the internet as watching
educational videos and guides for their study. Digital literacy reduces student’s task as creating a
presentation for a projector by using the digital tools. In coming years the study field of digital
literacy would grow with new approaches.
Library Media
The libraries are increasing consistently, and the students get helps from the libraries. However,
students get more help from online as an integrated digital platform. Now a day’s students can
use the digital library or Library media. In my class Students can also use the Library Media for
research and can develop their knowledge.
Self Directed Professional Development
The Self Directed Professional Development has increased in recent years; this includes many
online videos which can be watched through different browsers and other contents which would
lead students for their betterment (Cantor, 2017).
Smart Classes

Smart classes are the most frequently used technology for making a better approach for students
(Surr et al., 2017). Teachers can use these classes to get the proper attention of the student in the
subject. The classes are integrated with a projector. The teacher uses the projector to teach the
students.
4.2 Analyse the inclusiveness of own use of teaching and learning resources in a specialist
area
In recent times students are aware of the new technologies and always looking for new ways of
learning. Hence, it’s the responsibility of the teachers to guide the students in which they want to
study.
I use smart classes for the legal training of the students. The classes are considered as Smart
Classes because students can repeatedly clear their problems. These classes are mostly the video
classes; thus students can focus on the study.

5.1 Liaise with others within a specialist area to develop their practice
Liaison plays an important role to develop self-practice. The practice of discussing any problem
or giving my viewpoint on any problem is important. The discussion increases knowledge of
mine and my fellow mates. There must be a list of key points to make during the discussions is
important for my knowledge; there would be no issue in the future. There must be a partner with
me with adequate knowledge of the activity. It is an important process to be updated with
information (Halliday, 2018).
5.2 Review the impact of liaison with other teachers and trainers within their own
The specialist area on own practice
The impact of liaison with other teachers and the trainers within the Contract Act, in which I
have specialisation, helped me to gain much information regarding the Contract Law by
liaisoning with other teachers. Everyone put their viewpoint and also discussed the Contract
Law. Everyone also paid attention to my viewpoint, and the knowledge was appreciated (van
Veggel, 2018).

6.1 Review the effectiveness of their own knowledge and skills in a specialist area.
I have specialised in the Contract Act related to the legal area, studied every articles and section
of the contract law. In the contract act, I have specialisation in every acts. The Sales of Goods
act, Indemnity Guarantee, Bailment and the Negotiable Instrument Act these are the topic in
which I got proper knowledge. I am looking further to spread this knowledge by teaching
students of my specialised area. These acts could be used for the dispute in any contract that
further, the students could use to rectify the contract by the knowledge I have shared to them On
the other hand, I believe in collaborative study process where each students can help each others
in their tasks which is essentially effective to establish a proper environment.

There are many opportunities which help me to update my knowledge and skills. As my
specialised subject is Contract Act, I need to be updated through news channels; to update my
knowledge if any change in the act took place. Another way to update my skills and knowledge
are reading online articles and attend the seminars which took place online to update my
knowledge according to the changes.
