possible conflicts related to
management of the sport.
 In this report, the issue of gender
discrimination, challenges, perspectives,

PROBLEM STATEMENT
 The females face discrimination
frequently in the access to, as well as
practice of recreational as well as
professional sports.
 The discrimination can be noticeable in
determination of stereotyping, the

supporting structures for females as well
as sport girls who show perspective in
the sports (Laucella, et. al,2017).

 Of course, the sport that houses the career, is

are not powerful to play the game of strength.

significance in present because of
certain reasons.

industry at great level.

 Furthermore, the gender stereotype in sports
also put effect on boys and men.

 In sports sector, the gender
discrimination is biggest problem. It is
not possible for the sports manager to
chose the knowledgeable along with
talented sportsmen (Kroshus, et. al,
2015).
 From time to time, this problem of
gender discrimination affects the
effectiveness of team due to the poor
management as well as management.

CHALLENGES AND ISSUES
 Due to gender discrimination, the girls
and women face various issues and
difficulties in making their place in
sports industry.
 The main issue is of half or less pay in
comparison of the sportsmen.
 Because of less pay, the females do
additional work or job to get additional
money.

 In this way, the females do not get
success by giving their hundred per cent
in sports.
 Other issue is that, they do not get
media coverage. It always disappoints
them to give their contribution in sports.
 Their do not get admiration like
sportsmen in the sports industry.

STRATEGIES
There are various strategies to overcome
the issues or challenges due to gender
discrimination in sport management
(Coffman, Exley & Niederle, 2018). There
are listed as below-
 Providing support to sportswomen like a player
 Development of effective gender equity
approaches

 Do not use sexiest language at the time
of having communication with others
 Make whistle-blower policies
 Establish zero-tolerance policy at the
organizational level
 Hiring more girls as well as females at
the post of executive (Antunovic,
2019).
