INTRODUCTION TO LESSON PLAN
The lesson plan is build upon the concept and application of Harmony.
Through learning this lesson, learners will come to know about the concept, need and benefits of Harmony.
It is important for students to understand the role of Harmony in music because singing cannot be possible in
the absence of harmony.
Singing activities will be included to ensure better understanding of the concept of “Harmony” because
harmony is considered to be very important in singing.
For meeting the learning objectives of the lesson plan, a one hour lesson will be delivered by including
activities & learning materials.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDED IN LESSON PLAN
FOR LEARNING
The tutor will discuss the agenda of the entire session in the beginning. Following this, KWL
activity will be undertaken to understand what learners already know, what they are desiring to
learn through this lesson and what they must have learned after the lesson. This was done to
determine the learning requirements that the tutor is required to fulfill.
Further learning activity core to the lesson will be performed in three parts that is;
In the beginning, tutor will introduce the topic that is “Harmony”, its benefits in music and designing, ask student to
determine the ways in which harmony can be identified.
By adopting auditory learning styles, auditor will explain the relationship between music and harmony where at first
hand tutor will sing a song then will ask students to give independent presentation in large group by repeating the song.
Tutor then will discuss the steps to be taken for maintaining harmony in different course of action such in music,
designing, etc.
