INTRODUCTION
The lesson planning is the process of planning the lesson in order to learn in a better and
in effective way. This report will outline the aim, characteristics and designing of the lesson plan.
Further, it will outline the learning styles and taxonomies in order to have effective lesson plan.
At the end it will outline the inclusive lesson plan, need for flexibility and adaptability and
affects of designing the lesson plan that affects delivery of inclusive teaching and learning.
In another task it will evaluate about the lesson plan on the compound interest that is
taught by the teacher in their class. In that it is evaluated about the lesson plan that how the
teacher will teach to their students in that lesson. At the last it will discuss the meaning of
assessment and evaluation and different types of evaluation and assessment in the learning.
MAIN BODY
Aim of lesson planning
The aim of the lesson planning is to know about the lesson as a whole and it makes the
reader to focus on the plan. This makes the students to achieve what they have learned from the
lessons. The aims are basically that makes the teachers and students in order to achieve in the
lessons (Ristanto and et.al., 2018). By planning the lesson it makes the students to know about
that what is important in this lesson. By determining the aim of the lesson it makes the students
to have focus on their learning and make them effective learner.
Characteristics of effective lesson plan
1. Builds students prior knowledge: When the students are planning for their
lesson they must focus on the efforts on the notes that are made by them while
learning that lesson. Notes are the important things that used to cover the syllabus
of the students.

2. Allow for more flexibility: The teachers should be more flexible in order to meet
the interest and needs of the students. So it is important that effective lesson plan
should allow and have more flexibility.
3. Clarifies transition: In the planning of the lesson the teachers indicates that there
are various stages that the students must know about that (Wang, Lavonen and
Tirri, 2018). If there are any difficulties in order to plan the lesson the students
must clarifies those problems with their teachers.
4. Allot time for student's involvement: By planning the lesson it makes the
teachers to be more organized and effective in their learning (Puspitarini and
Hanif 2019). By making the lesson plan it makes the teachers and students to
know about that what has to be done in that particular lesson.
5. Prompts Teachers to Reflect: The lesson pan once made should not be ended
itself but it makes the teachers to reflect and focus on the plans.
Describing how to design lesson plan that have goals and needs of learners
1. Resource availability: In order to design the lesson plan the teachers and
students must have the good resources. They must have proper books, websites,
projectors and other resources in order to design the lesson plan for students.
2. Coverage of learning needs: After having all the resources the teachers should
cover all the important areas in the learning (Andriyani and Suniasih, 2021). This
makes the students to learn about new things in their learning.
3. Role in developing skills: In order to design the lesson plan the teachers must be
sure that the plan must develop the skills of the learners. By having the
appropriate plan it makes the learners to develop their skills in them.
4. Knowledge and understanding: The plan must be design as it increases the
learners knowledge and understanding and beliefs (How to plan effective lessons,
2022). By gaining something new it makes the learners to develop their
knowledge in the particular lesson.
5. Purposeful content: While design the lesson plan the teachers must add the good
and important content which makes the learners to read the purposeful content.
By having the purposeful content it makes the learners to achieve their goals.

Analysing learning styles and learning taxonomies in lesson plan
There are basically the four types learning style in order to plan the lesson and make the
learners to achieve its goals while learning new things. The four types of learning styles are as
follows:
1. Visual: The visual learners are basically the learners which used to retain the
information which are showed to them in the form of graphic design, charts,
diagram and many more (Widodo, 2018). By learning from this it makes easier to
retain the things.
2. Auditory: These types of learners used to prefer listening the information orally,
which makes them retain the information. By having group setting the learners
can easily learn the new things in the lesson.
3. Reading and writing: In this learning style, the learners used to focus on the
written content by having the information in the worksheets or from presentation.
The learners used to take the notes which makes them to learn new things in the
lesson.
4. Kinesthetic: In this learning style the learners used to take the physical active role
in the learning (Akiba and et.al. 2019). The learners used to do well in the
scientific studies and increases their knowledge in the lesson.
Learning taxonomies: By applying the Bloom's Taxonomy which includes 6 levels of
learning which are as follows:
1. Evaluation: Evaluation involves that defending the opinions and making the
judgement about the taken information and working on that ideas to set the
criteria.
2. Synthesis: In this taxonomy, the person used to build the structure into the
diverse parts and joining all the pats in order to make new meaning of that parts
and makes the readers to learn new things.
3. Analysis: It basically involves the examination of the situation and breaking that
situation in to small parts and determine that how these parts are related with each
other.
4. Application: It involves that the learner should acquire the knowledge in order to
cope up with the new problems and situations (Cuñado and Abocejo, 2019). By

having and acquiring the knowledge the person can tackle the new situations in
the market.
5. Comprehension: It basically involves demonstrating and understanding the facts
and ideas in order to organize, summarize, generalize and giving the main ideas to
learn.
6. Knowledge: It includes remembering the facts, terms and concepts without
understanding what they exactly mean. It includes knowledge of specific,
knowledge of ways and means, knowledge of the universals, etc.
Explaining the lesson plan incorporate learning style and taxonomy
There are four types of learning style which includes the Auditory, visual, reading and
writing and Kinesthetic. In these all four learning style it makes the learner to learn new things
and make them to develop knowledge in them. By learning from auditory style or from the other
learning style it makes the reader to enhance.
By learning taxonomy the teachers and students can evaluate, synthesize, analyse, apply,
comprehensive and gain knowledge of that particular lesson or situation which making the lesson
plan. By doing this it makes the readers to understand the lesson in an easy and effective way
(Molbaek, 2018). As these all factors of taxonomy will help the learners to learn something new
and innovative from that lesson plan.
Ensuring the lesson plan are inclusive
Inclusive teaching refers to the planning which includes the variety of approaches of
teaching that used to strive the needs of all the students in the lesson plan. It includes the students
from all the backgrounds, learning styles in order to be successful in their learning. It basically
means to include every learner who are facing barriers in order to learn, provides and opportunity
to learn in order to be successful. There must be good learning environment, location must be
good, lightning, positive use of authority, etc. must be ensured while having the lesson plans.
Preparing effective lesson plan
In order to have the effective lesson plan the person must ensure that there must be
learning objectives of the lesson plan than it make the specific activities in the lesson plan. After
doing this they must assess the plan to the students in order to understand that plan by ensuring
them the proper sequence of learning that lesson plan. They must prepare the proper timeline to
complete that lesson plan and complete that lesson plan.

Analysing adaptability and flexibility in designing lesson plan
Adaptability and flexibility are the two important factors that the teachers must ensure
while making the lesson plan (Andrews, Walton and Osman, 2021). By having the flexibility it
makes the ideas in order to plan quickly and notices everything that is required to make the
lesson plan. The lesson plan should be so attractive that it must be adapted by the learners and
helps the learner in order learn quickly and easily.
Explaining how lesson plan affects delivery of inclusive teaching and learning
The lesson plan is the summary of the lesson which helps the students in order to learn
that lesson in an effective way. As sometimes the lesson plan has to be delivered very properly as
it helps the students to learn that lesson. It sued to motivate the students in order to learn that
lesson quickly by solving the issues at the same time.

Evaluation:
In this lesson plan I have make the students to learn about the maths chapter that is compound
interest. The students have learned very well and they were enjoying and taking interest while
learning this topic. The best thing was that the students were already know about the basic of
this lesson. This makes them to have interest in this plan. The bad thing I have faced is that the
students were facing problem in applying those formulas in their real life.

TASK 3:Assessment and evaluation
Defining Assessment and evaluation
Assessment: It is the process of getting together and discussing the information from the
various sources in order to gain the good understanding in the students. It makes the students to
know and understand about their work and gain the educational experiences in their learning. It
is basically the variety of tools and methods that are used by the educators in order to evaluate
and measure the academic readiness, progress in the educational wants of the students (Altherr
Flores, 2021). It is very important to have assessment as it is the key component to makes the
students to learn. By having the assessment it makes the students to know that what they are
doing in the class and helps them to improve themselves. This used to motivate the students in
their learning.
Evaluation: It is the process of having the systematic determination of the subjects and
have significance that used to set the standards of learning. It helps the teachers in order to
design the programme and projects and take initiative and evaluate the plan for good
productivity. The primary purpose of doing the evaluation is to make the students to take
initiative sand evaluate the learned topic in the class (Glucina, Krägeloh and Farvid, 2019.). It is
the proper structure of interpretation and used to provide the proper meaning to the topics that
are teacher by the teachers. By evaluating the things it makes the work easier and makes the
students to learn easily. It is very important to evaluate the topics because it helps to determine
the quality of the projects and helps in making good judgements.
Analysing the use of different methods of assessment and evaluation
Different methods of assessment
Formative assessment: In the formative assessment the test are made accordingly on the
unit based. It helps the teachers to understand about the learning that what they have taught to
their students. This makes the teachers to know about the performance of the students (Deeley,
2018). In this the goal of the teachers is to monitor the students and provide them feedback
where they are lacking.
Summative assessment: In this assessment The teachers used to measure the
performance of the students on the annual basis. It used to provide data to the teachers about the
performance of the teachers. By this it helps the teachers to determine the long- term benefits to
the students by learning the whole course and give exams.
