INTRODUCTION
A reflective practice is normally the ability to speak about ones action so to engage in continuous
learning process. Learning from the practical and theoretical activities in the class. It helps to
understand the lesson better. The two lesson learned in the post graduation class are project
management, leadership qualities. These lessons gave me insight on the qualities for a great
manger.
2. LESSONS LEARNT: FRAMEWORK
2.1 How I planned to gather and document lessons learnt
When
I planned to identify and collect
lessons learnt
Who
I planned to involve in the
process of gathering lessons
How
I planned to document lessons
I planned to collect the notes just
after the semester started. I
would collect the notes that
where available in the lecture
and on the moodle. Whenever i
will take the lecture i will make
the notes of what was taught.
The weekly class lessons will be
downloaded from the net to be
referred in future.
As it was a group lesson and
taught in groups for better
practical knowledge. I will
divide the work of collecting the
information between all. The
major part will be done by me.
Those collected information will
be shared among us when we sat
for group studies.
The lesson were available on
moodle so it became easier for
me to document it on word file
from there. On weekends while
studying I will make notes on
the laptop and search and save
related journals from the net.
2.2 What actually happened?
When...
I identified and collected lessons
learnt
Who...
I involved in the process of
gathering lessons
How...
I documented lessons
Well everything went pretty well
and i was able to follow how i
scheduled to do it. I collected
the lesson from the moddle and
online journal. I segregated
according to the topics so that I
can be easily identified while
studying. The topics had sub
topics thus i gather all the terms
from the study material.
There was no problem in doing
group studies. The group
members where were
cooperative. We all met but
everyone was having incomplete
info. This made the situation
chaotic and we need to gather all
information again.
Just the way thought to do. The
topic was vast so i made notes of
the important points and kept in
one folder on my laptop. The
explanation of the topics, sub
topic and terms where noted on
the word file and label
accordingly so to identify easily.

3. LESSONS
3.1 Lesson 1
1. Situation 2. The situation made me
feel…
3. What I learnt from
reflecting on the situation
Project management is a vast
topic. The lesson has 12 weeks
time in one semester to under
what is project management and
how to deal with it. Project
management is a method of
initiating, planning, executing,
controlling and closing the work
to achieve the goal of the
project. The challenge was to
achieve the goal with success.
There were tests, quiz, group
discussion to be completed in
the sem. The initial process was
slow for me to understand but
slowly i started to follow the
subject nicely and started doing
great at the tests and quiz. But
still there is gap between my
learning and practical
implementation techniques in
the real world.
The test made me nervous and at
one point i started to feel that i
am totally unprepared. I was
scared of the situation realising
that i am not able to follow. But
after practising with the note and
studying i was able to perform
better in my next quiz and test.
The reflecting made me realise
that only slide are not enough
for the test or quiz. I started to
make more notes on the specific
topics and gathered more
information from the Google
scholar. Those journals helped
me a lot in scoring 80% in the
exam. The best part of this study
is to understand how we can not
only manage work place but our
personal life as it can be more
fruitful. Project management
helps in bringing discipline in
life that helps us to manage not
only our professional life but
also our personal life.

3.2 LESSON 2
1. Situation 2. The situation made me

3. What I learnt from
reflecting on the situation
Leadership Qualities is about
how well the leadership qualities
can make a person more
effective leader. It teaches to
have positive attitude towards
the work and people. How one
can influence in a business
setting to create a positive effect.
It teaches to respect the team
members, work with integrity
and honesty. The work was to be
done in a group again and that
gave a chance to practically
apply the lesson learned. This
time the group was new non
corporative. So it was hard to
convince them.
As i enjoyed this topic i was not
feeling any tension of
completing it with good marks.
The study was to be completed
in group studies and that was
problem as the coordination was
missing in the new group
formed.
I learnt that every lesson is
important as they bring the best
polished person in us. I started
to prepare my own notes and
stopped being dependent on
others. I have to manage the
time to get the lesson done. I
started to take the lesson notes
from the slide and started to find
more related articles and
journals on the net. That helped
me to present the topic
efficiently in the group studies.

6. CONCLUSION
In conclusion, the overall experience of applying the strategies to win the situation was very
important. The group coordination and time management plays an important role in any studies.
The sems are full of lessons and topics that need to be completed in the given span of time. Thus it
becomes very important that we follow some strategy to complete the work on time. The lesson of
project management and leadership qualities completed with the help of these strategies. A
successful semester is marked with good grades and that come with good preparation.
