1LETTER TO JULIET
Dear Juliet,
I hope this letter finds you in good health, I have heard about what you have been
going through and I am here to offer my support. After the death of Romeo, I can understand
that you must be feeling as if life has cheated you and the result is not fair.
I have been your close friend for many years and I have seen you grow into the
beautiful and strong woman that you are now. I can understand that you must be feeling lost
after what happened with Romeo, but I want to let you know that this is not the end, and there
is so much that you will be able to accomplish if you do not end your life at this point.
I cannot tell you how you should deal with your family and the pressure of getting
married, but I can reassure you that Romeo loved you with all his heart and you cannot let his
death be in vain. This is your time to now make your voice be heard, and let the world know
of your grief and prove to Romeo that his death meant something.
Never having found love myself, I cannot begin to comprehend what you must be
going through, and I also heard that you got married to him in secret. Your family was the
reason your love story ended before it could even start, it is now your time to show that they
cannot control you anymore.
Juliet, death is not the answer this situation and I urge you to seek comfort in the
people who are the closest to you and know you the best. You are the greatest best friend I
have ever had, and I do not know what I would do if you ended your life.
I will be thinking about you, my friend.
Regards,
Your best friend, Hilda
