certain information. The use of productivity software makes people efeective in theor daily
activities. The productivity software that the soccer league can make use of is LibreOffice
Productivity Suite (Lee, Barta and Juliff 2013). This productivity software is recommended as it
incorporates different useful applications such as writer, calculator, draw, base and math which
will be helpful for scheduling and managing the different information needs of soccer league.
Apart from that, Google Apps for business can be used for as a productivity tool for LibreOffice
productivity Suite. Google Apps for business includes Google Talk, Google calendar, Docs, and
Google video that would be beneficial for the business.

The LibreOffice Productivity Suite helps a business to manage different tasks and helps
in improving the productivity. It is one of the most versatile Free and Open Source office suite
available in the market. One of the advantages of libreOffice is that it is compatible with
Microsoft office’s default file format (Ecclestone 2014). The purpose of LibreOffice helps users
in producing certain things that includes documents, databases, worksheets and presentation. All
these application helps in improving the productivity of the organization (Jun and OHGAMA
2016). The productivity software helps in organizing and managing the files and folders on a
computer and further helps in production of the information that can help in easier decision
making.

The productivity software can be easily monitored since it deals with small programs
called macros that can be easily tracked by their source code. Furthermore, the files generated

easily tracked. The software is needed to be up to date (Whitt 2015). The LibreOffice boasts
much better file compatibility and therefore it is needed to keep the applications up to date. For
accurate monitoring, tracking the reports generated by LibreOffice Productivity Suite is
necessary. This will in turn help in performance evaluation as well.

Performance evaluation of LibreOffice Productivity Suite is essential to understand
whether it is at all suitable for the soccer league. For the soccer league, a scheduling tool was
necessary. LibreOffice Productivity Suite provides a all in one solution for documentation and
scheduling of the different tasks associated with an event (Jun and OHGAMA 2016). As a
performance evaluation test, the advantages that LibreOffice Productivity Suite will bring to the
Soccer will be evaluated. Apart from that, the productivity of the soccer league with the
implementation of LibreOffice Productivity Suite will be tracked. The management of the
software is an important aspect of implementation of the software (Jun and OHGAMA 2016).
The performance of software is based on the extent to which software is able to perform an
assigned task. An information system manager can be appointed, who would be responsible for
monitoring the activities and the performance of LibreOffice Productivity Suite. Apart from that
the performance evaluation will include monitoring of the working process of the software.
